What a speech, doubters proved wrong, can't wait until the next election.

Winner by a minority but a win will be a win.

He promised to freeze gas and electricity price increases for 20 months, and also promised to scrap the Bedroom tax. There was something said in regards to "saving the NHS" as well which got a standing ovation, but I actually only walked into the room at that point so I missed exactly what he said.

The lesser of two evils I see Labour as, they getting my vote.

To be fair I would like to see someone get to grip with the energy companies.

How can he freeze prices though if they are private companies??

Higher education definitely needs addressing Ė all these graduates that we donít actually need.

If he's made PM, I'm leaving the country.

It's not Labour believe me, it's him. Creeps me out TBH. And Ed Balls... Really creepy.

@nickthegun Indeed. I get an air of sycophant from him. He would tell you anything to make himself popular.

Something else against Labour is if they get in power you just know Keith Vaz is going to end up in charge of something. I am not having that.

The most laughable thing is lowering the voting age to 16. I know you can get married and sent to your death by your country at that age, but it doesnt change the fact that 16 year olds are idiots.

I used to feel that way about him, but for some reason I don't find him as bad these days.

I welcome a shift back to the left, to be honest. The New Labour position never sat right with me.

The problem is, its still the same shower of cunts who ran the country into the ground last time, blithely sticking their heads in the sand while admitting no responsibility for any of the mess we are in.

Its like getting sacked for being shit at your job then repeatedly sending your CV in for your old position.

I'm still fairly confident that Ed is holding the fort until Labour can conceivably win an election, and then they'll bring back David.

Free education! Free school meals! Free childcare!

Er, yeah. That's not free is it, Ed? That's me and millions like me, paying for it.

Note to Labour : You don't have any money. No Government does. All you do is spend the population's money.
    Like water.
    Until you run out.
And then you borrow some more.
    Until the country is screwed.

If socialism is putting the needs of the many before the needs of the few, then there's a whole bunch of us who are sick of being described as having 'broad shoulders' and being expected to 'shoulder the burden' for people who like handouts.

    Person A earns £12,000
    Person B earns £60,000

    B earns 5x more than A.
    B pays 18x more tax than A.

I think the 'squeezed middle' as you like to put it, are already making more than their fair share of contributions, Mr Milliband.

God help us if Labour ever get back in.

    (No, I don't earn anything like £60k)

I said that when he was voted in. Get some idiot in until people like me forget how terrible they were and then bring out the big guns.

Because, other than everyone mixing their names up, its impossible to see how everyone failed to vote for the 'good one'.

Either that or the unions be trollin'.
