Ah the official line. Sounds much better than sulking because he did not get his way. He probably gets to spend more time with his family as well. Edited by glaeken at 12:22:24 24-09-2014 |

Must have been a tough choice between a high profile job in New York or staying here and having to work with Ed Balls and being hounded by the Daily Mail.

Don't forget the torturous job of advising a private equity firm based in Mauritius.

I could advise these companies. 'Dodge tax, hire legions of PR'. That's a £102k p/a retainer, ta. -

I bet that's more than he does. Often times it'll be a bung to put a name in corporate press releases.

He also gets paid to look like a leader, someone who knows what they're doing e.g.

I'm sure that Ed could do the same, but who wants him to? The Guardian does..

..but I think The Sun doesnt..

So - who are we all voting for?
- because I agree that immigration is having a negative effect on our public services like schools and hospitals
- because I agree we need a simple tax system
- because I agree with taxing the rich -

Registered 16 years agoIt will be interesting to see if the Greens get re-elected down in Brighton. Last I heard they weren't too popular down there.

I'll vote labour for as long as they retain links with the unions. -

Registered 16 years agoHe's not alone. It seems plenty of Labour voters are a bit racist as well:

- because I agree with taxing the rich
- rich people should be able to pay to jump to the front of NHS waiting lists
- environmentalism and climate change should be removed from the curriculum
- inheritance tax should be abolished
- that people on benefits should be banned from buying alcohol or tobacco
- that marriage should be removed as a right for gay couples
All that aside, the pathetic parliamentary attendance records of UKIP members just demonstrates to me that they're a bunch of parasitic opportunists gaining power and money off the back of making empty promises to bigots and idiot, with no real intention of doing anything other than serve themselves. -
