Oh how i hate thee. You know the bit in a pop song where they try to make it cool by getting some half arsed rap on there. I can only assume that's the reason, for there appears to be no other.

Recent example: Gwen Stefani's new single.

You can bet your ass there will be some line in there saying something like "From L.A. To philly"
And it will have absolutley nothing to do with the content of the song previously.

That's a good point actually, they almost always have dick to do with whatever the song is, granted most songs aren't exactly about much anyway.

Actually that's something i've been meaning to ask.

They've recently released a linkin park vs Jay z album.

Now forget whether or not they are good or bad, but there's a song on there that goes something like

'I to the izzy, v to the Vizzay' or something.

What the HELL does that mean? o_O
