Post discussions about differences between books and TV in here.

Conjecture about what will happen in the next season is welcome.

This thread will also cover all the casting news and interviews Baihua likes to post. (So these can be placed in here to avoid upsetting the TV purists...)

References to the books is limited to the pace of the TV. So discussing how the bar fight in season 4 episode 1 was different to the book is fine.

I give this thread 2 hours before it is locked...

Yeah its pretty much been a spoiler topic for ages. I guess in large part because the first 4 books are not exactly new.

He has just said "Winter is coming".

He always struck me as the most realist of the Lannisters.

That shows it is diverging. Bran in particular was a long way behind in series 3.

Isn't Bran (book 3 spoiler...)already done with his book 3 plot in the TV series? Book 3 ends with him meeting coldhands after they pass through the wall from the nightfort. He's gone through the wall already on TV, even if there's no coldhands.

Pretty much. Guess it was more a case of editing down his parts. The graph shows that pretty much half his book 2 story was condensed into a series 3 episode.

Yes. I remember Davos openly calling a member of House Frey a liar when he claimed Robb turned into a direwolf and attacked.

Think so been a while since I watched season one.

I think they made sure to jump straight to Jorah after the conversation to make sure TV viewers knew it was him.
