What is, in your opinion, the best hot sauce?

    Consideration must go to

1.) Flavour - it's food, it goes on food, it can't taste like shit.
2.) Heat - it's hot sauce, if there's no heat, what's the point (that said, I'm not looking for just the hottest here, it's got to be edible).
3.) Price/availability - ideally should be easily available from supermarkets, but online orders are OK too as long as it's reasonably priced to order in the UK.

I like Dave's Insanity Sauce. A few drops makes something spicy... a few more makes it challenging. Also recommend their mustard.

chillipepperpete.com is pretty damn good. I can't say I've got a favourite though.
The satan's shit is really quite mental.

Dave's insanity sauce is pretty good. Insanly hot but tastes like fresh chillies, not dried ones

Have tried Dave's insanity sauce, not a bad taste at all and pretty damn fiery.

Also tried and subsequently bought the MAD sauce from Mr Pickles/ when he was at a local food festival a few weeks back - very very hot (12 million scoville) but would go nice in a sauce which I've yet to try.

@boxoctosis Funny how tastes differ :) I'm not a huge fan of either salt or vinegar, and can taste neither in Encona Hot.

Blair's Ultra Death hot sauce. Doesn't taste too bad actually for the first few seconds, but the hotness is more a sharpness, like needles and blades. And worst of all, your stomach hurts really, really bad. Avoid.

Hot Mama's sauces seem to be pretty good to me. Have only tried two so far, but habanero+coco is delicious. The other was simply red habanero, great too, but the coco one had something a little special.

The Psycho Juice Smoked Ghost Pepper Sauce is very tasty, and works really well as a marinade for chicken on the BBQ!
