p.s. It is just blooming silly that nearly a third of the HD view on a tablet on the right hand side of the page consists of an advert. -

... I haven't seen the film however, the lovely lady who introduced me to the book in the first place says it was terrifically awful and politely suggested that it is a wise decision to leave the movie alone. -

I had really hoped portable view was going to return but as days go by I'm finding I just use the site less & less.

Actually, I prefer you get rid of mobile view as well and just have website view, so the zoom function works on the Vita browser, as it never remembers the HD option between page clicks and the browser won't let you override the agent string.
In addition, it might be worth changing the black text on white background when detecting mobile devices with OLED screens to conserve battery. As I read this little bit the other day:
While an OLED will consume around 40% of the power of an LCD displaying an image that is primarily black, for the majority of images it will consume 60%–80% of the power of an LCD. However, an OLED can use more than three times as much power to display an image with a white background, such as a document or web site. This can lead to reduced battery life in mobile devices, when white backgrounds are used.

Registered 20 years agoYeah get rid of the mobile view for the many thousands of people who use the site on their Vitas rather than the handful of people who may use it on their phones. -

The difference is that mobile and portable view result in bugs for the majority on PC. You lot can just change your phone, tablet or the browser for them, and probably will in time. This is a gaming site that works terribly on a dedicated gaming handheld that will have the same hardware and quite frozen browser support for the product's lifetime. -
