Loving my Rathma Necromancer at the moment. Most fun I've had with the game so far! Reminds me of the very first time I played Diablo 2 and tried to play with an army of skeletons. Except this build actually works!

I still mourn the loss of the original rune system for D3. It was removed so late in dev that when the collector edition shipped with the making of DVD, it was all about the rune system, even though it was no longer in the game. I appreciate that it must have caused huge balancing headaches, but it seemed (and still seems) so awesome for customising builds.

@crashVoodoo I noticed that and raised an eyebrow. Makes me wonder what they don't want coming to light.
Finished Chapter 4 of the season journey and got my dragon pet, that's me out until the next season's rewards are known. Must admit I found it a chore, just getting to 70 with the Necro was laborious. Unless you really chase those leaderboards I'm not sure seasons are worth the effort for me.
Blizzard app is going back to battle.net, although will be officially titled as blizzard battle.net.

Rather than nerf the Necro they're buffing the rest
The power creep is real. Patch 2.7, new Torment levels incoming, surely.
Anyway I think I need new legendaries to mix up the game for me. This past season was the first time I've felt a bit jaded with the game, not a good sign.
@GarlVinland they need to revise the torments and condense them down a lot. There are so many in-between ones that never get played because your power comes in large bumps allowing you to skip multiple levels easily.
I've wandered over to PoE for a change and I'm quite enjoying it. Definitely coming back for next season for a jade doc or something more pet based as that new jeram helm buff is nuts.
Yeah I'm gonna do the same, PoE incoming on XBox soon, something fresh now that I'm done with the bare minimum of Season 11. Plus The Division just got a new patch and Nioh is a sort of loot game, so plenty of choice.
Sooooo it's time for the allmighty BUMP three months later.
Season 12 is about to begin (on thursday) and so in preparation I thought I'd log in and have a look at this 2.6.1 thing. And, well, it's a bit nuts.
I did a few runs with my Demon Hunters (Multishot and Impale, respectively) and they were massively more powerful than before, after getting the new versions of bow/quiver/dagger (your sets will autoupdate to new stats, standard legendary items won't). My MS DH plowed through GR80 in just above three minutes (with a non-ancient weapon as well!), and the impale one cleared a GR85 deathless in 6 minutes. Took me more than twelve minutes pre 2.6.1. Torment 13 is of course a complete joke. Granted my non-season characters have high(ish) paragons and great gear, but pushing in this season is going to be hard and fast.
It's all a bit Spinal Tap, but I kind of like it. It's a fitting swan song for D3 IMHO, pump everything up to the max and let the players destroy all content before letting it wind down to maintenance mode.

Awesome, I'd forgotten season 12 is starting very soon. I logged in and there's some double treasure goblin thing going on at the moment. I love kicking the shit out of those little guys!
I must have spent the last 15 hours looking for Vengeful Wind. Still can't find it. Breezing through T13 sounds nuts though. I'm still only stuck on T11, and my current record is GR50 in about ten minutes. And that's after the improvements to Inna's set.
But I guess Destiny 2 is gonna eat most of my grinding time now.

I like how the character screen says I can deal 1.1 million damage. My character passively summons clones every second that explode for 6-8 billion dmg, and that's on top of everything else.
I can actually melt most enemies even on T12 now, but I take a lot of damage so it's very dangerous. I wonder if there's any other defense I could employ. Unfortunately it seems I'm at my limit... the only item I can swap without losing anything are my bracers, and it doesn't look like there's any good effect for those.

ive put about 4 hours into an Uliana monk last night after a PL and i've completed chapter 4 of the journey and got my full set.
i actually think i might be done now ... the uliana rotation is actually boring.
Yeah, well... I had big hopes for Uliana's this season. Turns out it's still a bit shit. ¯\_(ツ_/¯
After getting all the stuff needed for the WoL build, I switched over. Instantly went from struggling in T10 to steamroll T13, from GR50 to GR70. Gained 150 paragon levels in a day.
Of course, after switching over, an ancient Fist of Az dropped. Might revisit the Uliana set later, but not today.
I'm not sure how I could further improve my build.
I found the Spirit Guards and now I'm resistant enough to actually deal with T13 too, although it's not easy. My current record is GR60 in 11 minutes. But I don't know where to go from here.
I currently have the full 6 Inna set, bonus 4 of the Sunwuko set, and Bastion of Will. Plus, I have Kyoshiro's Soul, and Spirit Guards to further reduce damage. Cube effects are Vengeful Wind (to greatly boost sweeping wind clone damage), Crudest Boots (obviously) and Ring of Royal Grandeur. My follower also has the Oculus Ring which sometimes helps, and Thunderfury.
Have I built myself into a corner? Mind, a GR60 corner, but still. I read of people wasting T13 like it's nothing, but I don't see any more room for growth.
Paragons, ancients/primals and augments from here.
@Malek86 From what I’ve read, Inna’s not in a particularly good place this season, it got a tiny increase in damage compared to Uliana and Sunwuko which both got huge buffs. I think you should soldier on in T10 and try to respec into Sunwuko asap, since you already have a few parts of that set. Remember you can reroll one set item into another in the cube.
It´s a bit unfortunate that you cubed the Vengeful Wind from a Sunwuko perspective. I’d rather have cubed the Incense Torch daibo, that would have helped immensely with both damage and resource cost, while still letting you use both a VW and the Kyoshiro’s Blade (and get another 130% crit damage). Maybe you can roll rare daibos in the cube for an Incense Torch, and use that until you find another VW?
Focus/Restraint are great from a damage perspective for this build, I use them myself, but I’m starting to think it might be worth switching over to Unity/Convention of Elements for durability, at least for pushing. It’s a bit glassy otherwise.
Inna has the advantage of being massively augmented by a couple of choice legendaries to double the amount of dudes you have running around and skills to buff you for each one.
Yeah, that would take a great deal of grinding.
Maybe I'll hold out for a bit? It's still possible that they'll buff Inna in the next patch.
My current inna has some ludicrous toughness when you proc it.

My toughness and recovery should be good then, this is what I get after proc.
Sheet damage is worthless, but overall I'm doing about 5-6 billions per second. Not sure if that's a lot.
I'm guessing you're running the wailing host set? I should probably mess with that. Oh wait, no you aren't. You should link your build, I like having a nose.
Not worked out what I do per second, but high crits are about 3 billion a piece with regular hits being about 700 million. I think there are about 20+ hits a second including those from pets.
