Act 1 finished \o/
Incidentally - what are Paragon points?

This really is like digital crack on the Switch! Just leave it in sleep mode and pick up where you left off.
It's my first time playing this properly (had a go at the demo years ago).
I blasted through act I over the weekend. Now in Act II I've upped the difficulty to Expert, as my wizard is just ripping through everything he encounters
I've just been playing a Demon Hunter in the Seasonal challenge. I've become death incarnate but I can be killed by a feather if its a little too prickly.
Some of the changes they made to sets are nuts. I do 14,000% damage bonus with Rain of Vengeance and for the next 10 seconds. Screw all survives that to Torment 10 and under.
Spent a scary ~260 hours on this game now. :S
Started Act 3 this morning and am up to level 50 something.
The difficulty feels about right (Expert I think) - I'm not dying often, but most of the enemies take quite a lot of time to kill...
Hit lvl70 earlier and now accruing Paragon points
I must be close to the end of chapter 5,so should finish the main story this week.
Assuming I want more Diablo, what's the best thing to do after the story? I seem to recall seeing a season thing and adventure mode..?
Adventure mode, hop around the acts/ waypoints, doing miniquests (bounties) to get stuff so you can higher levels of Greater rifts, or, whatever you fancy doing.
Seasons: time limited events (a few months) start afresh with speeded up leveling, with adventure mode unlocked from the start. Your chara converts to a normal non seasonal character afterwards, and the stuff in the seasonal stash gets posted to your non seasonal self.
I guess, if you just want 70s though I'm sure you could find someone here to boost you up, takes less 30 mins to get to 70 that way.

Even in single player you can level up characters (after the first one) pretty quickly. Grind out a level 25 gem of ease, use it in the cube to remove level requirements from a level 70 weapon, put a big ruby in it and go smash some things in torment 1. If you really want to go the whole hog, you can do the same with level 70 Cain's set and Crown of Leoric, get some delicious bonus xp.
Anyone going to start season 17? I randomly fired it up last night on a whim and then googled when the season starts and it's today!

I don't think I've even got any ancient items :/
Still, might just use haedrigs gift and level a different char for a change and the set bonus stuff.
What to roll?!
I'm going Sader, I would play Monk as usual but I know I will end up playing Wave of Light again for like the 7th season in a row.
Quite tempted by Barb as well though....
LoN season hmm er, think I'm giving this one a pass.
Rolled a Barb, haven't played one since before Reaper of Souls launched.
I thought about starting again and then picked up Dragons Dogma again. Think Iíve done all Iím going to on this game and will trade it in now.
Iím bound to get hooked all over again now Iíve said that.

T16 made the game challenging again. Still, as long as I stick to T15, there isn't really much to be afraid of.
I don't wanna deal with seasonal characters because I don't play much, but it's nice to be able to jump in very occasionally and just clear a couple rifts, hoping to get a better roll on my items.
Well, I caved and rebirthed a wiz. Had done the starter set, and was part way through finding gear for my desired Archon build (Chantodo + Vyr is now OP), then just lost the will to live, I've done it so many times. Ended up buying Grim Dawn on sale, and it's great fun.
