It's ever since ddanno gave us a boost in a rift last night. That was on torment 4 and afterwards, my damage went from basically fuck all to 150k. Dropped it to normal and now that I've changed some skills around and checked the kit it's better, but it's still chugging a bit.
Err, that is possibly a complicated question. What gear are you wearing?
All kit is either legendary (including weapon) or half decent rare.
Am still only 69 so I've yet to get some 70 stuff out.
Maybe I'm just being impatient and I should do some rifts for a while to min max a bit -

Registered 7 years agoCould have been a resistance issue if your main skill(s) were all fire based or whatever. If enemy resistances are even a thing.

Registered 11 years agoAh, it's sorted now. Not sure what happened, but I pissed about a bit with some skills and now I'm literally flying through master difficulty. Shrug.
Also, I did the rare-to-legendary season quest thing and it turned a quiver into sin seekers, and I use rapid fire as primary, so that's a fucking huge bonus. Much more breathing room with kit space now I don't have to worry about regen. -

Registered 9 years agoGenerally I find the progression from 60 to 70 pretty weird, to the point where you might need to lower difficulties until you hit the cap. And then the game changes completely after that. -

Yeah definitely. There's a period where it goes a bit funny for a bit and then seems to settle down. I'm back on track now and just going for the 2nd and 3rd haedrigs set gifts now.
Those sin seekers are absolutely amazing if you use rapid fire as your main attack. I can really piss about with other skills now and can offload some lower level crap that was previously providing hatred region.
Think I'm totally re-addicted again. Doesn't take long does it?

Registered 9 years agoI think I'm pretty much over it at this point. In terms of hours this is probably my most-played game ever, the vast majority on Witch Doctor. But eventually I just stopped paying attention to the meta, and couldn't really keep up anymore. Power creep is also a real thing. -

Registered 11 years agoI do it in bursts. I'll absolutely hammer it and then I get a mini burn out, leave it for a bit then go back until I'm sort of done. Then I leave it, then I'll get reminded about season X and give it a go again.
Some of the initial magic has gone, but it's still got that timeless feel for me. Same for D1 and 2 tbh.
Which reminds me, I must Google d4 and see what the score is with that. -

Yeah looks that way. I didn't know about the open world aspect though. Or mounts. Or player populated towns. And I like the fact they're going for a darker tone.
I'll just have to keep rolling d3 toons for a while longer I guess. -

It definitely looks cool. Obviously with the whole destiny strikes design it's again going always online. For me they don't have to change much from D3 combat wise, fucking love that game.

Anyway!
Just rolled a witchdoctor in season 21. The random weather effects are quite amusing.
Anyway, I'm on the scrounge, does anyone have a high level red gem I could "borrow" for a bit to power me through? Pretty please?

Didn't think you could trade gems?... Or can you stick them in tradable gear and then drop it? -

Hm, maybe you're right, thinking about it. I used to run multiple toons on the same season and just put it in the stash but for other players maybe it's different.
Maybe the weapon thing would work though. I just need something with a half decent attack speed gemmed witb a ruby. Would that work do you think?

Registered 1 year agoYeah, totally different between your own toons, there are no restrictions at all there.
For trading stuff with other people you need to be in the same same party as them when you find it, and I'm guessing putting a gem in it will probably invalidate that.
Can give it a try if you're on PC, but I'd say your best bet is just finding someone who can do a quick gear boost. -

I'm guessing you mean on ps4 because I've gifted you a giant fuckoff sword before. While gifting anything via the mail system is admissible on console, you can't do it between regular and a seasonal char.

Edit, I've created a GoD DH when playing coop with sons and it is very fun to play with a pad

S22 does look better TBH. A shadow clone from shrines and a 4th cube slot, while not new does allow shit to be changed up a bit

Have to say the witchdoctor is fun. I've never tried one before. With some rabid dogs, a gigantuan zombie and haunt, it's fun blitzing through it all. Only leveling at the moment so no rifts or anything yet but still fun.
That haunt skill is really powerful
