I know that the P900 and P910 (great names ) are now on the market but I've found a few bargains for the p800 for around £50. Is the phone still worth it? I remember it being a very good phone what do you good people think? MCM |
So...is a P800 still good?

Registered 20 years agoIt is still a good phone. It was too bulky for me and I did not use that many of its features so I went for a little Orange SPV C500. The wife still uses the p800 tho, its a good phone and a useful PDA. -

Well worth it for £50 I reckon. -

Registered 17 years agoFor £50 it is a must buy, there are loads of utils and stuff that make your life easier (if you want them) - being able to collect and send your mail from a 'real' mail client is awesome and has saved my bacon on many an occasion. Many people here at work still have the p800 as they can't justify the extra cost / lack of extra features for the p900/p910.
You won;t regret it. -

Registered 20 years agoLovely, quite a few people on here have one. Best phone I've ever had. Charges off USB, voice call quality is top notch, build quality is excellent and then there all the extra features. Its worth it even if you don't intend to use it as for anything apart from a phone.
IIRC Mine cost me £50 on a new Contract with Orange for £14.99 120 minutes a month. -

Registered 18 years agoThe P800 is great or at least it was until I smashed mine
...luckily that was an unrivalled excuse to buy a P910! -

It would be a great phone for whatever price you would normally pay Orange for a smartphone, but its bloody fantastic for £30 for a whole year. OSPS aren't so generous at the moment, but you can still get 8 months free line rental on lots of tariffs.
