Here is a list of current commands:

I really like the look of the red Nexus 5, but cant justify it as i have a Xperia Z which works fine and does everything i want.
Can anyone convince me there is a valid reason to buying a red N5 ? Other than the Android updates i cant think of a single reason sadly and saying that Sony arnt to bad with updates as i dont super need 4.4. -
I traded in my Xperia Z and got the Nexus 5 for £180, apart from the updated Android there is very little if nothing else that puts it above the Z. I just prefer vanilla android. -
Go for £207 on Mazuma only £33 for a N5 -
So I'm very tempted to buy this at £240. But I've got a contract with tmoblie/ee on my nokia lumia 920. Am I able to just take out the sim and stick it into the pay as you go nexus? Also, can the same thing be done the other way round for the lumia? I obviously want to sell it but I'm not sure if people would be able to use it on different sims.
I'm stoopid, help! -
The phone will be unlocked, so putting your EE sim in should be fine, assuming it is a micro sim.
Guess with the Nokia it depends who you got it through if it was your network then I would think it is locked to it. As far as I am aware CPW phones are all unlocked. -
Ah cool, thanks. Yeah I bought it through t-mobile, so no chance on reselling then, I guess. -

Registered 18 years ago@smogi how are you doing it? I use timers all the time for cooking, never had that problem. -
@smogi
If the UI is literally the only reason i dont think you should get the N5. You might not want to root your phone to remove bloat but what about a custom rom? If it is just the Samsung UI you hate and like the hardware then installing a custom ROM is both free and easy.
And EG masses you failed, you were meant to sell it to me.

Registered 18 years ago@smogi hmm I see, When you use that voice command it doesn't set the timer, it sets an alarm. I don't use the voice command and the delete button is right next to Stop when it goes off.
Maybe leave a message for Google in Google groups that it should set a timer not an alarm as there are already commands for that. they're usually good at responding. -

Registered 14 years agoHad to get my phone replaced as the power button broke. Pretty poor considering it's not even 2 weeks old! -
That's a bit unfortunate. Haven't heard of anyone else having that problem. What did you think of it up to that point? -

Registered 14 years agoLoving it otherwise. It's fast and I'm getting decent battery life from it. Apart from that failure I had no major complaints. -

Registered 9 years agoThinking 'bout getting one too, I've got a crappy Blackberry and it's just not cutting the mustard anymore. Plus it would go nicely with my Nexus 10, talking about that, do you guys think I could hook my N10 up to my N5 to be able to use the internet I get from the mobile? -

Registered 18 years ago@Cyderr Yeh, just enable wireless hotspot, set the name and password and you're good to go.
For future reference: Settings->Tethering & portable hotspot -> Portable Wi-Fi hotspot. -

Registered 9 years agoWill that be able to see my N5 as a Wifi connection? How do I set that on the N5? -
For future reference: Settings->Tethering & portable hotspot -> Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
then use the tablet and look for wifi points and the name that you specified will be listed.
I have mine setup to match the name and password of the router at home. if it ever dies or the power goes off then all devices just continue working if i enable hotspot on my phone. -
Awesome thanks guys, I'll give it a go.
