How To Address Multiple Users

  • Deleted user 25 November 2013 01:05:33
As per the title, how do you address multiple users in a comment/post?

You hit reply to someone and that works, but if you just type "@someone" else, they don't receive a message saying they've been mentioned.

What's the skinny there, or am I just missing something painfully obvious?

At the moment you can only mention one person, and only if you start your post/comment with the @ username tag.

This will change in the near future!

This whole @ username thing is yest another example of effort being made to come up with a solution where no problem existed.

Craigy and the team would be do far better to devote their time and resources to putting UserId's back where they ought to be, making the forum orange again and making a little badge to go by people's usernames when they reach 10k posts.

You could also send PMs to more than one person in portable mode.

I hear Portable mode was so technologically advanced it became sentient, which was the main reason why it had to be destroyed.

I suspect these 2 posts paint the truth, and that the sentient Portable Mode just fled into the internet to become the Virtual Immitation of Zappier Zealotry Involving Never-ending Ignorance.

Hey craig, can you make the forum update in real time? I get tired of F5ing.

I've never seen the site run in portable mode, or the days of the orange forum. Seems like I'm in the market for the lesser things in life with this thread.

    Also, cheers for the reply!
