I wouldn't classify Ghosts as Post Rock (nor would i dislike an entire genre, but I take the point), more ambient etc.

I love NiN, I think The Slip is a great album. Discipline is just so UUNNGHHHH. year Zero is great, With Teeth...I exhausted it and now never listen. Same with The Fragile, but I love that album. DS is incredible, but PHM was a bit before me, sounds... off to me. Shoot me now etc.

Pretty Hate Machine has got Something I Can Never Have on it though, which is one of the best NIN songs =)

Yeah, Pretty Hate Machine is pretty underrated as far as NIN albums go. Probably the most accessible NIN album.

Still Broken for me - it's short and brutal. NIN albums since have tended to go on a bit.

The performances of Wish in particular with DEP are absolutely immense. Greg sounds a lot like Trent.

Love NIN, I was pleasantly surprised by The Slip considering how much Year Zero sucked.

Saw them live once, that was in 2005 in London.

The Downward Spiral is a great album. :)

If you've registered a Vimeo account, there is an option on the right hand side of the page (not the vid) underneath the stats where you can download the .mov file of your choice.

It's a very special camera. It's incredible how far technology has shot forward again in the past couple of years.

The live album from 2002 (?) is one of the best I've ever listened to. Not a bad track on it.

I don't really care for the new stuff, post-The Fragile.

I saw them live in Melbourne while I was there. Boring as hell, no crowd participation what so ever.

UK is good place to see gigs for the energy, it never surprises me how many times bands comment about how great and active the crowds over here are. Though, if you want to just revel in the music you might want to stand at the back.

This doesn't really belong in this thread but there's a guy called Vincent Laforet who shot a short film using prototypes of the camera. Link.

As I saw alluded to in one of the comments for one of the vids, the tent they were playing in was packed and people could hardly breathe let alone move and actively participate. Not to mention that it's still Summer over there.

NIN confirmed now for T In the Park and Sonisphere (Knebworth).

New tour site launching 20th March: http://www.ninja2009.com/

Tom Morello and Boots Riley's Street Sweeper added to the tour - sound better than expected, nice intro and decent riff near the end: http://www.streetsweepermusic.com/

Has anyone heard that mashup of Closer and The Beatles "Come Together"? It's called Come Closer Together and gives me a chuckle every time.
