I wouldn't classify Ghosts as Post Rock (nor would i dislike an entire genre, but I take the point), more ambient etc. I love NiN, I think The Slip is a great album. Discipline is just so UUNNGHHHH. year Zero is great, With Teeth...I exhausted it and now never listen. Same with The Fragile, but I love that album. DS is incredible, but PHM was a bit before me, sounds... off to me. Shoot me now etc. |

Registered 17 years agoYeah, Pretty Hate Machine is pretty underrated as far as NIN albums go. Probably the most accessible NIN album. -

Registered 13 years agoLove NIN, I was pleasantly surprised by The Slip considering how much Year Zero sucked.
Saw them live once, that was in 2005 in London.
The Downward Spiral is a great album.

If you've registered a Vimeo account, there is an option on the right hand side of the page (not the vid) underneath the stats where you can download the .mov file of your choice. -

I don't really care for the new stuff, post-The Fragile. -

This doesn't really belong in this thread but there's a guy called Vincent Laforet who shot a short film using prototypes of the camera. Link. -

Jesus, I'm so utterly behind on everything NIN. I need to take a week off and catchup. :/ -
Has anyone heard that mashup of Closer and The Beatles "Come Together"? It's called Come Closer Together and gives me a chuckle every time. -
Have you chaps explored http://ninremixes.com by chance? There's a even a Mario mix of Closer!
Also this official site - not sure how it works http://remix.nin.com/
