Hey guys! I would just like to say a big sugary thank-you from the Eurogamer team to Boo, who sent us an amazing bundle of sweets that arrived this morning.

Usually when we receive packages addressed to the EG team around this time of year, there is a collective disinterest because we are very militant about passing everything on to GamesAid. When I fished the covering note out of the Amazon box though and read the message, there was a STAMPEDE towards its contents, which are being steadily massacred as I type.

So thanks very much Boo! Here's a photograph of your generous gift :-)

You do realise that some other people may have been planning to do the same and send even more cakes and sweets, but now they won't because they'll feel like big copycats? It's possible you've done yourself out of future Christmas goodness, Mugwum.

I was more an expressing of confusion at deathjango (sorry that's how I read that) assuming boo to be a woman, less of a drooling "a girl? Where!?" post actually. :-)

I've been here for 10 years, and it's never cost me a penny (although it nearly cost me my job once, when my boss suddenly loomed up behind me while I was laughing at something).

EG, and by definition the people who create it / keep it running, are awesome.

Long may it continue!

And who knows - maybe they'll get so buzzed on all the sugar they'll bring back portable view...
