Job's a good 'un. They are allegedly better to go straight into the wall, but I have one used in a 4-plug adapter and after testing it briefly, it didn't seem to make much of a difference either way. You seem very unsure about homeplugs, but I swear that their ability to let you move LAN level connectivity around the house as your appliances move about at will has been a godsend for me. They are simply one of the best things I have ever bought. No more wi-fi hassles, just plug and go. My folks were having real hassles with their wi-fi, I grabbed some homeplugs for them and all was good in 5 mins. Two plugs are required for the first device (one to router, one to device), then a single plug per device after that as they will all talk to the router through its existing plug. Registered 12 years agoI get this message about the wifi connection being dropped but bizarrely it only happens when I'm downloading patches. I've never dropped out of an online game in hours of online play, I've never been booted out of PSN, I can use the store without any problems and if I just leave it to sit on the main screen it won't drop the connection at all.
It's not a huge problem admittedly but it can be a pain in the arse with big patches as the latest NBA one took me over an hour due to keep having to restart the download.
Anyone any idea why it just seems to lose connections when downloading patches and nothing else? -
@silus. It happens to me as well. It's a swine trying to download stuff. PlayStation say it might be my router, but never had this problem before, so I don't believe them.
Play fifa online fine. So don't understand it.
