Seems to be a bit dead at the moment, so I thought I'd start a conversation on what we're all listening to.

Me, I'm listening to two albums I just bought today. Bloc Party-Silent Alarm and The Libertines self titled album. First impressions seem to be that both are very good.

Hum of a PC fan, me belching and the tapping of keys. Oh, it's stopped. No wait, clicking of mouse.

Right now, DJ Food - A Recipe for Disaster

Lots of heavy D&B mixes, Tomahawk - Mit Gas and a light smattering of Chris Morris radio shows :)

Indeed. He'll be quiet for quite a while, then suddenly I hear him, sometimes for minutes on end, going "get a life, you sad looser". He'll even wake me in the middle of the night, demanding me to grab a chicken leg and go round to my neighbour's house... What's that? I can't tell them about you? Ok, ok, I'll be right there!

I have just quit playing WoW in order to rip a load of CDs for my nwe MP3 player that I got today. So far I've ripped Fozzy - All That Remains, Tenacious D and now I'm doing the Purple Rain soundtrack. Probably won't get many more done tonight but as long as I have something for the tube in the morning, I'll be happy enough.

Still have to see about replacing my NIN collection :/

KT Tunstall's album, 'Eye To The Telecope'. It won't be to everyone's taste but, hey, nothing ever is.

If you bought it before I'd say you owe it to yourself to replace with a nice download.

I totally would, but there's no torrent sites around anymore! I would have no problems downloading it all again because I've already forked out for it once and would prefer to not have to do it again. Even though it would totally be worth it.

And if anyone links to any, Rauper will be on the warpath...

I'm listening to the strange noise coming from my PC's hard disk and wondering if that's what the aftermath of a read/write head crash sounds like.

Hmph. I forgot how long this took the first time around... i've been ripping for what seems like ages and I've only done five cds!

I only have about ninety here in total (not including rutty's, some of which I'll be copying onto the Zen but not many 'cause they're mostly shite) but at this rate it'll take forever :(

Plus I've just realised how many of my CDs are back home in Ireland and I won't get them for aaaages! Like the Buena Vista Social Club soundtrack, for one thing. Shite.

Ah well, at least I have a shiny new toy to play with!

I had everything ripped to the Mac, and then it was all on my old Zen that got stolen. It's all (well, mostly) still on the Mac but I *still* haven't got it shipped over here yet, so I'm having to re-do the whole flipping lot.

    grrrrrrrrrr

Edit: And I lent all my NIN stuff to someone who has now, I think, taken it to Lanzarote where he now lives and where I have no way of getting in contact with him. Bast.

Angel, I've been using allofmp3.com for months and never had a problem with it. It's not a torrent/P2P site and works fine as long as you've a credit card.

    Here's their NIN catalog:

    The Downward Spiral 1994
    Fragile (left) 1999
    Fragile (right) 1999

    Down In It 1990
    Sin 1990
    Broken [EP] 1992
    Fixed [EP]
Closer To God [CD 1] 1994
Closer To God [CD 2] 1994
March of the Pigs (Disc 1) 1994
March Of The Pigs [CD 2] 1994
Further Down the Spiral [UK] 1995
Further Down The Spiral [US] 1995
The Day The World Went Away 1999
