Far Cry 2 was sublime, crap bits and all. Only game that's ever made me feel truly scummy playing it, which was perversely enjoyable.

Checkpoints could be avoided 9 times outta 10 once you learned the map, easy-peasy.

Anyway, I feel like I've had this discussion before. A billion times.

Far Cry 4 is where we are now!

I don't have the slightest inclination to buy Far Cry 4.

I enjoyed 3, it was quite fun. But 4 seems like more of the same, and I think I'm getting burnt out with the Ubisoft style of gaming. Plus, this has less of a single player story too. Meh.

IGN review reads really well. Didn't play 3 so this should be fresh for me so eurogamers negatives shouldn't affect me either. Sweet. Getting this in a bundle, excited now....

You are wrong about many of those things.

But even if you weren't, yes. It's a great game. Less polished than FC3 but more memorable all the same.

This. I had a good few great gaming moments when playing this. Some of the missions were also really tense, sweaty palms affairs.

Anyhow, 8/10 is a very good review for FC4. Bring it on! When it eventually gets delivered

Disappointed to hear the story has been given less attention. 3's Story was widely under appreciated.

Love immersion, love HUD free games, love realism, love go anywhere gameplay- PC Flashpoint the high point for all of this for me- but didn't enjoy FC2 at all. It's a krazy world!

I'm somewhat tempted by this now it isn't a mess. I'll just give it a couple of days for any Ubishaft "download our companion app to pull this trigger" shite to emerge...

Hmm I think the story is absolutely still there, it's just not as hard hitting?

But even in the single player there's so much more than just the story to entertain one. Certainly the case in FC3, presumably the case in FC4.
