Where has the arena area gone? Finished the main campaign but can I find these? Not on the map anywhere. Even if I put all the filters on. Odd. |

Registered 16 years agoThat's be a pain if it disppears after completing the campaign. I finished it earlier, polished off the remaining outposts and radio towers.
My choices:
Sided with Sabal throughout; killed Amita; met Pagan, let him monologue, blew his helicopter up as he left; met Sabal at the temple and offed him too. -

Free code:
Duffman, here is your code to unlock the Blood Ruby Mission

3TGDY-HCCJM-GRG7J-PW7J2-967PZ
Redeem your code on Xbox Live:
1. Select Xbox Store > Browse games > Use a code.
2. Use the QR code or enter the 25-digit code. You can also redeem the 25-digit code at live.xbox.com.
I never used it, I assume it is 360 specific ? if you do use please post on here. -
Good little mission that. I believe it was on that one that chucked a shitload of bait about to collect all the required snow leopard skins. -
Opened up the North last night. Spent lunchtime flying around and doing bell towers. Just 2 left now. Then it will be onto the bases and then collectathon and then finally the rest of the story. -

Registered 16 years agoI was really enjoying this until I got to the mission Don't Look Down. It may actually force me to stop playing - it's got gameplay that I hate and that is unlike the rest of the game, I can't get past it, and it doesn't even seem to be possible to quit out of it and get back to the open world that I had been enjoying. -

Registered 19 years agoThe mountain prison one.
If you're struggling with it, why not just watch/read a level walkthrough? It's the only mission of its type in the whole game. It's also pretty short...

Registered 13 years agoI thought the prison escape was ok. I found it a bit shit too to start with, but once you're down the mountain it reverts to normal service. It is generous enough with checkpoints too so you can work out where to go in the caves/tunnels. -
That mission is a low point in the game, but I managed to get through it without being especially stealthy... Once you figure out where you need to go at the start you can pretty much run straight there and ignore the enemies, then on to the next point and do the same. They're much slower than you, so you've got plenty time to collect your doodads.
And yeah, the prison part itself is very short, once you're descending the mountain it's a hell of a lot more enjoyable.
Probably bad advice, but it worked for me after a few frustrated restarts

Registered 7 years agoWhichever bit it was, I quite enjoyed the sky-diving bit when you go between the cliffs, with avalanches and stuff, finally to dive through a gap the size of a sparrow's arsehole. That was fun. (took 3 attempts mind) -

Registered 7 years agoI've found the wingsuit both a blessing and a curse never mind the govt forces, demons or honey badgers the amount of times I've accidentally opened the effin wingsuit then crashed into the ground or just flew across a valley to then not open my parachute in time... Gets on my tits...cracking game though. -

Registered 15 years agoI did an unboxing of the Kyrat edition. I got it over Christmas for £46 or so from Amazon which was worth it, but these days its back up to £80.

Registered 7 years agoJust one question (well. two really)
1.Why did you wear gloves? Did you nick it and don't want to get your fingerprints on it?
2. Why?
(Not being nasty or facetious, just curious)

Registered 9 years agoJust got this and wow what a gorgeous looking game. I can almost feel the cold fresh air. Big improvement on far cry 3, everthing is more fluid and of course very well polished. Best game so far that I've played on the ps4. -

Once you're in the prison yard you can just sprint to the end - I did it first time (virtually every mission in this game you can sprint to the next checkpoint, die and then sprint to the next checkpoint ad infinitum). But the hallucination part of the mission is one of the worst missions I've played in any game. And narratively so much of it doesn't make sense either. I'm still not entirely sure I followed how you end up killing the woman general...as well as so much more of the story generally. They seem to conflate huge story points into the hallucinations and expect you to be able to parse what happened and what didn't.

Far Cry 4 is Just Cause 2 in first person mode. The similarities are actually quite distracting. I'm still having fun with it, but it's very unoriginal. -

Registered 15 years agoSomething made the prison bit easier for me was realising the heartbeat/vibration is related to the proximity of enemies.
Also, yesterday I found out that you can release a car's handbrake. Look at the front left or right wheels and you'll get the prompt. Now you can roll vehicles off hills without being in them. -
I love the recurve bow...

Registered 7 years agoIt's very decent, I prefer it to the Crossbow. I've only got the online trophies and 'distract 15 enemies with rocks' (which is proving to be really tricky, not to mention dull) to get the platinum. -
Yep loving the recurve...

Registered 9 years agoI was close to quitting this tonight playing that stupid city of pain mission where you have to stealth around and not get seen, luckily I discovered if you just blow up things next to enemies it doesn't count as you killing them so other enemies just disregard the bodies, still it was a bloody piss take. I'm a run in and shoot everything type of player so that was just terrible. -

Registered 7 years agoYeah I wasn't a huge fan of City of Pain, and I quite like stealth.
I also agree with others here about Don't Look Down. Just played that mission last night, definitely my least favourite part of the game. Wasn't fun. In the end I employed spleendonkey's tactic of simply sprinting to the end, worked a treat

@eightbitboy
Both are lots of fun collectathons, but still lots of fun. I preferred 3 due to setting and I enjoyed the coop. 4 will obviously look a lot sharper. You can't really lose.
