I knew it was going to be comedy gold, what with the whole killed-by-a-doorstop thing, but Dirty Den's joint impressions of Emperor Palpatine and Gollum edged it up into the realms of comedy platinum.

I need screencaps. That was fucking hilarious!

Everyone was watching it in the living room, there was a massive gasp when it happened. Pratically sucked all the air out the house.

Heh heh, missed it. Still, screencaps, STAT!

People *really* give a shit? Weird :D The gf was watching it while I was coding. Also thought the other dude being pushed off a bridge was the weakest thing ever. If some cunt pushed ME slowly off a bridge I'd AT LEAST take the motherfucker with me.

I thought it looked shite (was only watching it because I was waiting for my t-shirt to dry).

Yes, the fake-blonde tart wife was weeping over his dead body, even though she was the one who orchestrated it all, and then he suddenly sits up and growls some grandiose villainous line - which I didn't catch - before she smashes his face in with Pauline Fowler's dog-shaped door stop.

The only way it could have been funnier would have been if Dot Cotton was involved.

'So the wife killed him? Meeeeeh.'

Yes but she's trying to defer the blame onto Zoe Slater, who got the first hit in, not knowing that Sam Mitchell saw her hit the killing blow. Makes the forthcoming episodes pretty interesting, imho.

Yes, we don't get tabloid papers over here. Well you do, but you have to hunt them down.

Saw this as well (Couldn't resist it) and I, too was indeed very amused. The bit where he came back to life immediately made me think of Skeletor popping up out of the pool of acid at the end of Masters of the Universe.

Seriously, the only way it could have been any funnier would have been if his wife had used some 'Commando' style quip before killing him with the dog statue (Possibly something dog related like "Time to put this mongrel to sleep!" (Let's see you come up with better!)).

Mendoza: "Johnson, we're going to have take you off the force"
    Johnson:"No Mendoza, you are"

    /shoots Mendoza

Ok, so it's irrelevant, but it's good!

Well he didn't sit up more just grabbed her by the ankle and said "You'll never get me out of the Vic" (maybe slightly off) and she clobbers him.

Den was amazingly prophetic by what appears to happen next episode.
