Hi everybody! I am looking for a book of names. I would like an edition which contains epic names like names for elves, orcs... you know what I mean. Something that is maybe published by blizzard... Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. |
Book of names. Specifically elf names or names from games

Registered 8 years ago@Fatiguez Hahaha, I never had a problem of coming up with names for my WoW characters. The thing is that I would like to give such a book as a present to a special person of mine.

Registered 8 years ago@Fake_Blood Noooo that's not what it's about. It's about coming up with names for World of Warcraft... and I know how much that person does a research to pick a character's name I think giving him such a present would be really thoughtful. -

BTW - I am now named Beetle Willownest
If I use my own name it comes up with
East Goblinstaff.
"He brings riches and wealth. He lives where the Celts and the Norse people live. He can only be seen when the seeker holds a four-leafed clover. He wears sunrise orange and has gentle green wings like a butterfly."
Not very Elfy though sorry.

Registered 8 years agoI would look specifically for guidebooks to series and movies for the shooting crews and writers. I've heared there are such things for Game of thrones, maybe for some other movie/series? -

I think we've discovered a gap in the market here. I might write the book myself and make a fortune! -

@Tonka That's not a bad idea actually. A Icelandic onomasticon.
