Registered 20 years agoA lack of knowledge doesn't tend to stop many so called journalists. She seems to specialise in it.
She's desperate to turn it into an issue over middle class identity issues, rather then troublesome little oiks.
I wonder if there are other countries in the world, (other then those which adhere to the caste system) who will not let go of the ideas of class.

The woman is an absolute tit! She has absolutly NO idea what a Chav is OR why they're dispised!
There was one chap, forget who though (Late thirties, glasses?) who said quite a lot of good points, and she was SERIOUSLY riled becuase he was hitting the nail pretty much on the head, and she had fuck all come back. Amazingly enough Vannessa Feltz was also making some good points and this journalist woman had no come back at all.
Prick.
On the plus side, the Mrs said something that made me laugh.

Thing is, she missed what was probably one of the main points Chavs are so fucking despised and trodden down by the rest of us folk - it's the criminal element. I doubt anyone would give a flying fuck what Chavs got up to if it didn't involve singularly pissing off the rest of the civilised world. If they sat at home and knitted, made crochet bobble hats or played that weird magnetic fishing game would anyone even know they existed? I doubt it. They are hated and despised because they are a complete fucking pain in the arse from the moment they wake up from their white lightning-sized hangover sleeps to the moment they've kicked in their last telephone box and passed out in a drug and booze fuelled torpor..

Registered 18 years agoI believe the key point that she missed was the fact that Chavs respect NOTHING. They don't care about anything but themselves, and occasionally, other Chavs.
The biggest word in their vocabulary is I. Or Me, if they've been educated to use 2 letter words. (Sorry, that was a bit low) -
