So I wasn't aware of this game or what preceded it until the article that appeared on EG this afternoon. It looks brilliant and I can't wait to try it out. Really happy to see it's had a PC release too.

Anyone else plan on picking it up?

I played it at the Expo on PS4 and it was a lot of fun.

I will be getting it as soon as it's released, it is actually one of my most anticipated titles for the PS4!

I've just played through it in about two and a half hours, unfortunately while it starts off fun it soon moves onto being frustrating once it expects you to perform more elaborate tasks, and it doesn't really build anything clever on top of the basic idea.

Maybe one for the sales.

Don't knock it before you try it.
Most Sony stores have a demo unit with Dadliest Catch on the PS4.

Reckon this will be the next ps+ freebie (after Outlast). They've said PS4 version would come out in March.

Yep it was Sony who mentioned that as well. Past a few minutes of laughter I can't see it appealing to me. Free anyway..... Gotta love PS plus

I wish. Coming from Xbox I can't rate PS plus highly enough. Only outlast has appealed to me but I do appreciate getting games for nothing ( after PAYING for PS plus)

Like others I thought this was a ps+ game and seemed like a good fit. They say they've made some improvements based on feedback but it still seems a bit steep to me.

First week PS+ discount hopefully.

Personally, I'm most looking forward to Rogue Legacy making an appearance, and 6 months after launch I'm surprised it hasn't.

Think I'll allow Octo and hope it's a PS+freebie down the line. Next 4 weeks we have Dying Light and Wolf3D to look forward to, reviews permitting.

I think if Octodad follows in the footsteps of what Fez does (or did?) by being 20% off for PS+ members, �11.19 or �9.79 is not bad at all.

... don't think we'll see this as a PS+ 'freebie' until later this year or the beginning of next year to be honest.

The first hour alone is a wonderfully funny experience.

I would probably have bought it by now if it hadn't been touted as being on PS+, so sadly I have been a bit reluctant to buy it yet, despite it looking a lot of fun in case it hits PS+ soon.

It's currently 8 quid on Steam, if it were the same on PS4 I'd have jumped on it.
