    Learn something new every day!

Might give it a shot. Marmalade whisky peppercorn sauce. Its either going to be the best sauce ever, or I'm going to get gastroenteritis

Remember, these are *just* bacon chops, not 248 day aged wagyu fillets, that've been massaged with beer by naked Japanese virgins. Seriously, best grilled though, they may contain quite a bit of water which will leach into a frying pan.

Yep, yanks love sweet savoury. Like bacon and syrup for breakfast.

The best "meal" McDonald's do is the sausage and syrup pancake one.

    Yummo.

Marmalade, cream and brandy sounds ace. Just a shame I don't have any marmalade or cream in at the moment.

    Grill those bastards.

Fry off some peppers and onions. Make some pancake mix (dropped scone style). Drop the onions and peppers on top before you flip them. Add wee bit syrup and hot sauce. Consume with bacon.

Man V Food has a lot to answer for.

It reminds me of that episode of Man v Food where a restaurant came up with a Crispy Creme doughnut burger.

The guy who invented it was pushing 30 stone.

I've tried making one. I wanted it to be nice but it was howfin'. Bacon and sweet stuff, yes. Beef, cheese and sweet stuff, fuck no.

Does sound good to me. Salty, sweet, bitter and sour with cream to smooth.

    I'm going to try that.
