Jury's still out, for me. I'm two eps in and they have changed a *lot*, not everything for the better.

It's also pretty low budget, so all the super stuff happens as a speck on the horizon.

So.... My money is on arseface and the SoK stories crossing paths.

He gets sent to hell, finds it cold and everyone dead with SoK asleep on the throne of hell or something.

They need to pull the Saint into the story soon and I reckon they will use arseface to do it.

Maybe. But the angels last episode were talking about the "other option" for getting Genesis out of Jesse, and I'm pretty sure they're talking about the Saint.

I guess it could still dovetail with Eugene, though.

I'm sure there's a reason he has been sent there and will have some kind of wacky capers rather than just being straight tortured.

Maybe saving Eugene will be the driving force for Jesse, instead of seeking justice on God. Might be an easier sell for religious audiences...

I can't belive I give a shit about Arseface, I hated him in the comics - thought he was a waste of panels. The actor is doing a really good job.

It's been a big change to the character, though, going from his origin being a Judas Priest joke to a murder suicide guy. That's pretty dark and hard to come back from.

Yeah, I thought that might be where it was heading... So far it seems that Cassidy is closest to how he is the comics, everyone else has changed to some degree.

Shit, Jesse is pretty unlikeable right now.

I am enjoying it, but I'm still a little confused Odin and the effect of the Word - what's going on there? Is he under the effect and using his own twisted interpretation, or is it only temporary, or has the Word been removed by a third party?

I'm really not happy about the way 'until the end of the world' has been changed. That is one of favourite comic moments ever, and it seems a real shame to change that. But then, everything is different now.
