Hi EG,

I'm getting sick seeing so many clashing social-media sharing buttons on top of the articles. Please let me decide which ones are really interesting to me. I'd like to remove all where I don't have an account.

Yeah, the button row is, incredibly, bigger than the navbar. It looks a bit desperate.

I've only just started using it really, but isn't having a reddit button a bit pointless? Surely the maximum number of times that should be pressed is once ever? After that, it'd be people reposting, which isn't what reddit is about as far as I've seen. One person posts, other people decide if it's worth upvoting or not.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes there are certain articles that I've seen shared on reddit, but did they use the button or did they just post it normally, bypassing the needy look-at-me-please-share-this bar?

Not gonna happen for the simple reason that everybody would just turn them all off and EG don't want that.

They get to keep current buzzy words and topics high on the page and therefore rank higher on Google?
