Just started playing this now, and really really enjoying it. Just up to meeting up with Ivy again after the Oracle moment. But decided to do some side stuff. From what ive gathered alot of that sort of locks itself off at points until moments from the story have occurred (cant seem to find any more firefighters for example? And the next Riddler challenge is on a part of the map thats so heavily defended theres no way to get to it).

Only issue i have, which is my own, is that its hard to remember all the combat moves in freeflow. Like using the gadgets on the fly and what not. Remembering the button combos, or movement directions/buttons needed to be held down then pressed again stuff. Its good in a way that its there to allow you to master it, just feels very difficult at first. And i guess youve only quite got it at the end of the game.

Certain side missions such as the firefighters and the murder cases are only locked off until you open all parts of the map. It's pretty easy to complete those once that has happened. Just a matter of finding the locations.

I actually put this away thinking I'd seen the end, turns out I've not even seen the real ending. Oops.

So got to the roughly the end of the Riddler quest line, then he buggers off and says he wont fight me till ive completed all of his riddles? Does that mean collecting every token etc? Or just the photo type ones where you have to use detective mode? Because, not sure ive got the time to go about collecting every trophy there is just to get 100% ending. Seems a very rubbish way of forcing the player to do them.

On the other hand, have really really been enjoying this so far. Dont even mind the Batmobile tank sections, it feels good enough to still be enjoyable despite it being fairly repetitive.

@SwissEvans You've got to get every trophy. Best start finding and interrogating those green guys/cars on the streets!

Yeah riddler thing annoyed me too. Since the PC version is working now I really hammered this over the weekend.

Completed most quest lines now, locked up loads of people and about to end the story. Except riddler for the simple reason I cannot be arsed to get every trophy. I do like the idea of filling the jail cells. Guess he will have to be the one that got away all because of sodding the trophies.

@SwissEvans you have to collect everything. The 100% ending is more an epilogue/ending of the Arkham series and not the ending of the main story.

Of course, you can always YouTube it if you can't be arsed.

So, how long did it take any of you guys to wrap up the Riddler?

Just so i know how much time i might need to invest. I do want to get 100% if i can, but not if its going to take me 8 weeks (as i only tend to get an hour or two a time).

Also, how does interrogating the green guys work? Do they only add locations around the area you interrogate them in? Or will they add them to other areas/islands. And will these guys reveal ALL the locations, or are there some you just need to find by chance when you come upon them. As thats a pain in the arse if it is.

@SwissEvans Collecting all the Riddler trophies took me a few hours. Don't know exactly how many, and I also don't know how many I already had when I started to concentrate on them. I'd say you'll get them in a Sunday afternoon.

Informants (=green guys) snitch mostly on locations of the particular island you catch them on, but a few also reveal locations on a different island. And it's not random: knowing I still had some collectibles left on a particular island I drove around there for 10 minutes but no informants showed up. I then drove to another island and saw one immediately, who gave me locations for the other island I drove on previously.

And yes, they give you every location. And don't forget the one in the GCPD building, he's green but no button prompt shows up. But just press the button you usually would and B-Man interrogates him.

It is largely fixed so yes feel free to play it.  I completed it this month and didn't get any framerate issues or crashes. This is with Nvidea hardware mind ,  I hear AMD may still have a couple of minor issues.

Season pass is on sale for 20 quid on psn..... Even at that price is it worth it? Anyone that has it think it's been decent so far?

In all honesty, the content so far has been a tad uninspiring. The only reason I don't feel cheated is because I look at my season pass as tipping the studio for a fantastic game.

But to get back to your question, £20 sounds about right. I think.

    @Vice.Destroyer

Yeah what I've seen has been uninspiring, exactly why I'm unsure. If only they announced there would be x hours of story based missions released in the next 3 months then I'd happily pay. I don't like going in blind....

Wow, half price already? Glad I waited. I imagine they're gonna piss a lot of full price payers off with that.

I've done the Riddler trophies, the ones underground were the biggest pain in the arse as I had a subway bug which meant some of the doors stayed locked after completing.

I found about half of the trophies quite fun, the other half just annoying and put there to be a timesink really. I think the game would have fared much better with say just 150 trophies or something.

Lockdown in GCPD has been released. The less said about it, the better. 3 groups of enemies. And some more challenge maps.

I knew it as soon as I saw the £1.99 pricetag. This season pass has been a fucking travesty. What on earth did they charge £31 for?!

So i've done a fair bit of research and finally decided to buy the season pass at the discounted price before it goes back up tomorrow.

I agree the season pass has been terrible value for the first 3 months, but I have faith (maybe stupidly) that the second half will be a lot better.

Mainly that Season of Infamy story expansion sounds like it will be much much larger than the Batgirl thing. 6 villains, new gameplay mechanics and many missions. It can't possibly be another 2 hour job or you'd blink and miss a villain.

Rocksteady has a lot to prove too.. they've pissed off a lot of people with this season pass. Hopefully they have a point to prove with Season of Infamy.

@Gregolution I purchased the season pass for £18 and I've enjoyed bits of it, however they really do need to buck their ideas up and start releasing some quality DLC worth the original price they were asking. Season of Infamy sounds interesting but their current track record doesn't leave me with much faith.

yeah totally agree. What's been released so far is not worth it.

Anybody know when the 1966 Batmobile gets released? I am chomping at the bit to get that last achievement. Also, it's a shame that Xbox owners aren't getting the 1966 Batman suit.

Anyone still trying to go for high scores? I just got 352,395 on Azrael's Atonement.

So they've just released the remaining season pass content and I actually feel like I've been robbed (even though I didn't pay £33 for the season pass). Apparently the high cost was mostly for skins and AR Challenges. This wouldn't have been a problem if they'd priced it more reasonably. Not to mention all the DLC released so far has been incredibly disappointing. A lot of missed potential here :(

More reason why I never buy passes until after all the content is out and the pass goes on offer.

I've spent a fair amount of time over on the WB official Arkham forums, and it's pretty depressing. A vast majority of commentators are happy with the season pass; all they seem to care about are new skins.

They've even launched targeted spamming campaigns to bombard various Rocksteady employee Twitter accounts with inane requests.

The Season of Infamy was originally supposed to include six additional super villains, but Black Mask and Prometheus have been axed according to the latest season pass press release.

I have to wonder if this content was cut to make room for the much requested Ben Affleck outfit and Dark Knight suit.

The season of infamy seems like it could be a lot of content though , I think some people are over reacting.

I don't think it's worth 32 but it's fairly similar to most 20 quid season passes isn't it? If all the episodic story stuff adds up to about 6 hours and season of infamy is another 6-8 it's not terrible value.

Quite a few ifs there though.
