| What IS scary is that Carr is ruining his rep as a brilliant stand-up. I hated Carr, based on his "100 greatest" shows and one of the crappy gameshows he was on. Then a friend forced me to watch Carr's live stand-up video. And he's really bloody funny, with amazing comic timing. |

IMO its for the same crowd that likes Two Pints of Lager!
Its as if the presenters have been scripted to be 'spontaneous' but end up looking like wannabees and Jimmy Carr is awful. He seems to have one joke and expression and.....well....thats about it!
Incidentally, was channel flicking at around 00.30 on sat night (yes, I have no life!) and found Space Jam to be on ITV, which was weird. I mean....a kiddies film 'n' all that....still watched it all though.... -

Registered 18 years agoYeah, I watched a bit of Space Jam too. I don't know what was weirder - the time it was on or the film itself.

Here's a question.
I Didn't like Spaced the first time I watched it but watched a few more episodes and now it is one of my favourite shows ever.

it took me a while to get it as well.
Its a show that hardly nobody seems to have seen.

Do you know what's worse, what makes me even more dead to you...I enjoyed some of it! Yes! Hah! -

Oh well could've been worse, you could've said you really enjoyed TOYS last night.
I mean, I mean, just WHAT THE FUCK was that about?!

Tends to be a fairly cultish show, however they were on the Comedy awards the other night talking about it so I guess it must be fairly well known.

I was speaking specifically about the bit with the oriental fellow kicking arse and the ensuing Pike/sword fight with Connor Macloed. Now those were quality, the rest is a bit poo. -

Toys was just sucky IMO. The best thing on telly yesterday (had day off to myself for the first time in months and what did I do? smoked a bit and watched telly! Not very inspirational!) was The Halleluja Trail. Great, light hearted Western...
