Thought I’d try Netflix, as there’s the 1st month free offer thing. I’m receiving it via the Playstation 3, and so far so good, although I have noticed one small issue, which could be to do with my internet connection. Most of the time, the picture quality looks good, although I have noticed from to time, for no real reason, the picture quality drops. Does anyone else experience this? I’m with TalkTalk, and yeah I know, they suck, and plan to change as soon as the contract expires.. On my PC, it is all too apparent, the TalkTalk broadband speed appears to be all over the shop, ranging from zero connection, to slow internet speeds, to high internet speeds. Maybe this answers the question. Maybe it don’t, and maybe it is a Netflix’s issue. |

And yes, the picture quality drops if the internet connection gets a bit iffy. -

You are right, it's when your connection speed drops. Instead of having to stop and buffer all the time it lowers the quality to a level it can keep playing, then ups it again if the connection speed picks up. -

Registered 14 years agoWii U has this issue at the beginning of any tv show. Ps4 and xbox one both seem quite good to me. -
Good to hear other's have experienced the same issue. Having watched the whole of Season 1 and 2 of Breaking Bad, the picture quality drop issue, only occurred on three occasions, for about 5 minutes at a time.
On the film front, to be honest, given the Netflix choice, i haven't spotted all that much I want to watch.
