Problem with Grisoft/AVG?

I've got AVG 7 on my desktop and Laptop, and also on Mrs Lutz's sisters desktop... but I can't update it all. Everytime it tries to update on any of the machines it imply can't connect to the internet. Which is obviously working, otherwise I wouldn't be here now...

Is anyone getting the same? Or does anyone have any ideas how I can update the virus scanner???

There was a problem with AVG updating itself a couple of weeks ago but that's solved now.

In fact the first thing that happened when I turned my PC on 20 minutes ago was it updated itself fine.

Here (sister in law) possibly, but it's updated here before... at home I've not got a firewall running... so no.

3rd time lucky and it's updated here, but now it's saying theemail scanner isn't fully functional, but it's not telling me what's wrong with it.

Something's been disabled then (have a look at the properties).

In any case, if you have problems updating (once in a while it says it can't find the internet over here too), you can download the updates directly from their site as well.

I've had these problems before, and repeatedly. In my case the services are being switched off by something. So I have to go into the services and manualy resest the two AVG ones.

Pain in the arse and a mite sus.
