Has anyone received their scheduling instructions for Project Mg yet? I received the first email and completed the survey, but haven't had a follow up. I'm guessing I haven't been selected for the test?

Yes, as long as you go in with realistic expectations and not like a muppet who just wants to play the best games a bit early. Think of it as a job and you'll be very pleasantly surprised. Think of it as a modern style open beta of AAA games that you also get paid for and you'll be disappointed.

You will also be NDA'd to the gills, so don't be a bell end.

Haha yeah not expecting any "big aaa" titles. Just happy to give a few hours to something different and make a bit of cash on the way

I'd also say that if you have any interest in game development it can be pretty interesting to see games at various stages of development. I participated in several tests for one game and it was fun to see it progress all the way up to the launch and I've also done a test that didn't even include any actual gameplay.

Got paid for a couple more recently and having an extra little bit of cash come through seemingly randomly is pretty nice!

But yeah, treat it like you would treat an actual job, don't say you'll do a test unless you know you can do it, turn up on time, don't leave until you've been told to and follow the instructions for the actual test and you'll be fine.

Sounds good. I work shifts so have quite a bit of flexibility and time to play when mrs damaged is at work. Thought be good to get a behind the scenes look and if i make anything from it just be a bonus.

I've not preordered since the SNES and I won't for Mg either HOWEVER it's a day one purchase for me. If the shops sell out I will probably buy it digitally - that's how much potential I think it has.

It's mg not Hg you know. It stands for mutt gnuts (the g is silent)

And yes it is that good. The FX on the dog face are unbelievable.

So I chased this up on Friday.

Sent them an email and also did the profile updater survey to let them know that I signed up for this last year, signed and returned the NDA but haven't had anything yet.

Nothing yet but we shall see.

I also got a new PC since I signed up so will need to do a fresh DxDiag upload; tried to do it today and the link is broken.

Yeah, the advice with the upload thing is to send it via email, they're not sure when it will be fixed.
