Just watching this on channel 4. Without a doubt one of my fav films of all time.

Was wondering if any other fans of this film would like to recommend a film.

I'd go for 'The Big Lebowski'

    Raising Arizona, definately.

I did like TBL but not as much as Fargo.

You could always have a look at what to rent if you, erm, don't know what to rent.

The only problem is I don't think their database is that large.

The Big Lebowski is my favourite film ever. I like all of the Coen Bros' films (that I've seen at any rate).

My favourite bit of TBL is the Nihilists' "That's not fair!!"

I luuurve Fargo, I've seen it loads of times but it never loses its charm. Hudsucker Proxy is great too. Not a massive fan of Big lebowski though.

The Ladykiller's remake was an insult.

Come on, the Big Lebowski has to be the most quoteable film ever. You don't want to see me and a couple of my mates when we've had a few beers and the quote machine gets into high gear...

We even acted out the gun in the bowling alley scene once with a BB gun. Actually, that's really sad :p

TBL has one of the best written scripts of all time.

Your outta your fucking element Donny.

Raising Arizona. I love that film.

Was the overuse and overly annoying use of the word "Yeah" [throughout the film] intentional?

It was so obvious at times that it must have been. But I failed to see what the point of that was. :/

It was a light-heartedly humourous take on the local vernacular. Can't say it ever bothered me in the slightest; it only endeared me to the adorable naivety of the majority of characters.

In a slightly different vein, I bought "Intacto" on DVD from Amazon for £7ish the other day. Bargain price for a great film.

    So... this is really happening...?

Looks interesting, but why are they recycling characters from the film in a new story? That just seems... odd? And kind of ruins the legacy of the film, no?

Eh, it's a little strange, but I don't think it will particularly ruin anything.

It's looking like it has a quirky, Northern Exposure-ey feel to it.

WTF was I thinking, or was my account hijacked? Fargo remains my fave Coen film, but Big Lebowski is a close second, watched it not so long ago again, utterly brilliant.

I've never seen The Big Lebowski. It's one of those things that I've always wanted to see (as I've seen just about every other Coen Bros. film), but never gotten around to.
