For those who don't know, this is a Harry Potter spin off based on the life of the author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Newt Scamander. I've just heard that it's apparently going to be a trilogy. I'm a pretty big fan of the Harry Potter series (recently went to the studio tour thingy and am currently re-reading and re-watching them all) so I'm looking forward to this but I think it might have been better as a one-off. It does mean we'll get plenty of time back in the universe though, so that's good. Is anyone else interested in this film at all? Or am I the only Harry Potter fan on here? (Apologies if there's already a thread for this, I did a search for one and couldn't find it but I know how unreliable that can be!) |

Registered 11 years agoPretty interested in this as I too like the Harry Potter universe.
Don't think a trilogy is the right way to go though. -
All properly researched, I'd love fantastic original observations let slip!
Got bored after original. -
/mumbles something about milking the franchise and a silly joke about breasts...
