For those who don't know, this is a Harry Potter spin off based on the life of the author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Newt Scamander. I've just heard that it's apparently going to be a trilogy.

I'm a pretty big fan of the Harry Potter series (recently went to the studio tour thingy and am currently re-reading and re-watching them all) so I'm looking forward to this but I think it might have been better as a one-off. It does mean we'll get plenty of time back in the universe though, so that's good.

Is anyone else interested in this film at all? Or am I the only Harry Potter fan on here?

(Apologies if there's already a thread for this, I did a search for one and couldn't find it but I know how unreliable that can be!)

Just one extra "r" in the title and this could have been the most useful thread yet.

I'm sure that film will come along soon after if it's not already out!

Pretty interested in this as I too like the Harry Potter universe.

Don't think a trilogy is the right way to go though.

All properly researched, I'd love fantastic original observations let slip!

    Got bored after original.
