Has anyone bought a garden office or log cabin style outbuilding? If so can you recommend a good supplier/manufacturer? We have a fairly large garden but are running out of space in the house for my gear, also an extra room I could utilise as an office would be ideal. I was originally keen on one from gardenbuildingsdirect but having since read a raft of bad reviews I'm trying to find a good company to buy from. |

I've a mate who built one in his garden. I'll ask him who he used. -

Registered 17 years agoI think there's a handful of people on here that have done something like that. I distinctly remember a thread about it. If only there was some way of locating threads about specific topics on these forums I could try and find it for you.
Is your garden big enough to build one with a kitchen in it? I might know some place that have a kitchen going cheap! -

Dunster House Log Cabins in Bedford did my garden office (this one), and it's great - would highly recommend them. -

Registered 15 years agoAlways thought these looked quite cool, although not cheap and I suspect better as an office than for storage. -

Hmm... I'm really tempted by some of those. Might get one built so as to move my gym out of the garage.

Registered 17 years agoSo... Did anybody off the back of this thread get one built?
I'm planning to build one over the next few years. Looking for something rustic like a log cabin with a kitchen/barby area on the side. Main use will be as a snug.
Any tips or links to what you have? The custombuiltsurrey link above looks decent (the page with the self build ones) -
