    Kim Basinger isn't Mickey Rooney though. Though he did act alongside her as the Penguin in Batman 2. Thought he was really good in that.

    Well, I created the thread. And seeing as very few people appeared to give a shit, thought I might as well join in.

    But in all seriousness, we've lost one of the greats. I can't imagine there would be many people left who date back to the silent era.

    It's probably fair to say he was more of a beloved personality than a great actor. His best known part probably is Breakfast at Tiffanys, and for the wrong reasons.

    Still, a significant and prolific talent. Much respect.
