    Not this.

I played through it less than a year ago.

I'm not buying the game again just because the graphics are a little better. Darren can go on about it pushing the tech all he wants - it still looks sublime on PS3.

To each their own though. This version makes perfect sense as there are a lot of people who skipped it first time round/didn't own a PS3 at the time. I'm not someone who replays singleplayer games anyway.

Hopefully they'll price this correctly (25 quid I'm thinking and 10 upgrade for existing owners) and also do a bundle with the console. Be nice to keep your save also.

None of this will happen of course.

TLOU was game of the generation for me, it's sobering to think it's probably the best game on next gen too.

    With one exception. Knack

I can see the logic behind porting it as there is probably a large number of 360 only gamers that for gone to PS4. (Particularly in the US). This will be a real treat for those guys and gals.

As a TLoU PS3 Veteran it is not for me. (Excellent game but not ready to replay it yet. And I still have the PS3 disc).

After putting in more than 40 hours on the multiplayer, 5 playthroughs on single player and getting the Platinum trophy for the PS3 version, I'm still jonesing for this.

One of the greatest games ever made, IMO.

If it really does look that much better and is 60fps (or thereabouts), I could be tempted however, just like Syrette, I felt honoured to play the game on the PlayStation 3 last summer and made my way through the equally excellent Left Behind story add-on earlier this year and still feel exhausted about it all.

... I am very glad that those who stuck with the Xbox 360 for a little bit too long can play this though. A genuine masterpiece.

Will the PS4 version include all the DLC, specifically 'Left Behind'?

Interested in the multiplayer, I only got a chance to blast through the SP quickly as I was loaned a PS3 to play it. DLC as well - it's a great world that's been built so although it wasn't long ago - I'd play it again tomorrow!

The Last of Us Remastered for 37.75 by using 'QUIDCO' voucher code!

... they are a fairly good website for pre-orders; got myself Dark Souls II and South Park: The Stick of Truth one day early.

@CharlieStCloud Cheers for this, done! :)
Extra 3% off if you do it through the Quidco website first as well (for others benefit)

    I want a pre-order with a PS4. Does this exist?

I agree 100% it looks amazing on PS3 anyway. If they released for 30 I could understand but full price for more of the same is robbery.
Why? No-one is holding you at gunpoint and making you buy the game twice and there will a lot of people out there with PS4s who've never played the game before and for them it is a brand-new game with more content than the original which sold for 40 RRP. If enough effort has been put into the remaster then, IMO, I would happily pay 40 for it again (if you own the original then you can always trade it in or sell it to offset some of the cost).

That said, it would be nice to see Sony offer some sort of lower cost upgrade for existing PS3 owners who want to play a superior version on the PS4. They did this with a number of multiformat PS4 launch games so I see no reason why they cannot also do it for The Last of Us.

I don't mind being held at gun point and forced to buy games.

What a horrible thing to happen:champo2:

Yeah, I remember you having a similar reaction to Wind Waker on the WiiU.

I hadn't played Wind Waker for 10 years, I finished TLOU a few months ago.
A 10 year old 480p game has a lot more to gain visually going to a 720P game from last year.

To think, people complain about movie sequels. Seeing as I didn't get this on PS3, I'd likely buy a PS4 to play it, which I guess, is exactly what Sony want.

I think is a great idea to do this, but its too soon since I played it to consider buying it again.

I don't see how anyone can have anything to say against this being released 'so soon'. People who missed it on PS3 or want to play through again can, people who feel it's a bit too soon for them to go through again can shut the fuck up, pick it up when it's cheap and enjoy it when they are ready. Win fucking win. It would be a travesty not to have seen this on PS4.

    Pretty much.

It's broken the trend for HD remakes to be released a few years later but does it really matter? It's one of the best games ever released and it makes sense considering so many people have jumped from the MS ship over or back to the PS brand.

The more people to play it the better.
