No, happily, I didn't. This is about how the guards attack, rape and kill the inmates and get away with it. Then they act shocked that POW's are treated badly in Iraq and such places.

You think this is bad - did you see last night's documentary on America's habit of kidnapping foreign nationals and shipping them off to Egypt and Syria for torture? Quite unbelievable really. This series has been a real eye-opener.

Very one-sided program IMO. No matter how repugnant it all may appear, the other side of the argument stood no chance.

Personally I found the camera footage to be fucked up, but these people do not get put away for rape, paedophillia, murder etc... to be treated like guests. if someone killed my daughter for example, I would want their every waking hour to be as much a living hell as it would be for me and my gf.

The guards or govenor chose not to, or did not have the chance to adequatley explain just why the prisons are run in this way. We did not hear anything about how backing off and treating the prisoners with more respect could backfire and IMO the rapists, murderers etc... gave up the right to being an individual and respect from others the moment they committed the crime.

Ugh. Did you ever see that awful story about the riot in a prison in New Mexico where the inmates got into the solitary confinement cells and tortured their occupants to death, under the binoculars of the state police outside? What's worse is that some of the victims were unconvicted remand prisoners in there for their own protection, having reported other prisoners for rape. God, if ever I needed mind rubbers, it was after that programme. :(

They did that to a Canadian last year. And they wonder why Canadians don't like them.
