School Christmas companies? Tell me more!
Alain Sugar is a tool. Not sure re this programme. Sime of the tasks are so basic even school christmas companies with kids are more advanced. Preferred the us version until Trump began to suck my soul. -

Registered 15 years agoTom was all over the place in this one. As an inventor, he made a right call about the rucksack/car seat, but was too weak to force it through. He made the mistake about selling ten units to the big company, it was almost an offensive offer to them; and he of course didn’t sell.
But I think Sugar sees something in him that he can use, that’s why he kept him on.
Melody was ruthless, and in a way its admirable but you can detect arrogance in there too. She’s a bit full of herself. Back when she was the project manager and she won, she was very happy to take all the plaudits and saw herself as an amazing PM, but Susan called it right when she thought the praise was overblown, she wasn’t THAT good. In this task she was boasting in the car on about her ability to speak different languages, seemingly oblivious that it was winding Zoe and Helen up due to her showing off. Even at the end she still managed to slip in how the awards she’d won were read out by Sugar as a way of convincing him; it was still an opportunistic moment to show off and you could see Helen smile and Zoe give her a look. She ‘brought in the bacon’ on that task, with a huge advantage due to being a French speaker, and she is good, but not quite as good as she thinks she is.
With her mercilessness at grabbing all the pitches, she’s obviously not a team player at all. It can only get you so far before people turn on you. A bit of aggressiveness is good, but she isn’t balancing it out.
On the other hand Helen is quite clearly the straight shooter in all of this. 8 wins in a row, she manages to combine teamwork with just being very good, sensible and strategic. The people she pitched to were eating out of her hand, you could see it in how they were glued to her, mesmerised, facial expressions gleaming.
She’s way ahead of everyone else IMO and without a doubt the favourite to win. But obviously anything can happen, especially if you compare it to the Liz Locke scenario last year (Sugar actually regretted firing her during his tirade at Stuart). -
wait it was sugar who was going on about the awards not melody
helen is boring and would be a good candidate -

Registered 17 years agoAhh cool. Ricky Martin looks like a dick and he's in recruitment. Ultimate cunt. The Eastern European tart who can't stop going on about being head girl sounds like twat.
All such a bunch of moronic cretins. I love this show.

Registered 11 years agoOh I forgot that they have video bits, that might change things. I'll give those a watch. Looking forward to this, will need something to fill the void with this year's Masterchef ending soon! -

Registered 17 years agoBut don't they actually do something constructive in Masterchef? I could never watch it because it was serious. This one the other hand is comedy gold. -

Registered 3 years agoYes! Still the best/worst thing on the BBC.
"I didn't get where I am today..."
"Let's smash it."
"You didn't smell what sells."
"You're a loose cannon..."
"But, you know what, I see some of a young me in you."
"Well excuse me for being blunt, but what exactly IS your forte?"
"Alright, I've heard enough."
"Can I just say something lord-"
"I already told you, I've heard enough."
"Bunch of bloody amateurs."
Also keep an eye out for:
A twatty tut hunt race across london.
One twat thinking he's a frustrated movie director.
Some twat who specialises in, and owns "businesses" in, a given field, and being utterly gash in that field.
Two twats alphaing it up trying to be the biggest jack the lad.
Claude's exasperated expression.
Karen's eyebrow.
