Do we think Clark has never had a haircut and it just grows perfectly?

(They have addressed this in the comic.)

Not sure about his hair, but he shaves by reflecting his heat-vision off a mirror

It's only a mirror in the cartoon. It's a small curved piece of the ship he traveled to Earth on in the comic.

    I still haven't watched this.

But I have watched the recent 4-part CW crossover between Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow, and MAN OH MAN THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN.

Seriously, if you're down about the DC movie universe, watch some of the TV shows. Even when they're a bit shit, they're usually shit in an enjoyable sort of way.

I've only watched the first half, but I love that they've fully went for a proper crossover. Last years sort of split up the crossover episodes so each one focused mostly on their usual core cast. This year it's all mixed up to make it's own little mini-series, and it's awesome :D

I've not watched any of the latest series of the Arrowverse shows yet. I think I got a bit burned out on them last season. Four episodes a week...

Enjoy the arrowverse but they should cut them down to 15 episodes . Lot of filler in 22 or more episodes

I reckon you could watch Crisis on Earth X without having to have watched everything. There are bits and bobs that are there to advance to plots of the separate shows, but mostly it's a bunch of superheroes fighting a bunch of villains for reasons that make sense, and having a lot of fun doing it. Yeah, I know I'm easily pleased, but Mola has more discerning tastes. Trust him!

Not entirely sure what the point of that would be. We've seen that film.

All versions will be good for a laugh.

They could make all the footage public and challenge the DC community to make a good film out of it and they still wouldn't be able to polish that turd. I want them to release a Whedon and Snyder cut just to put this stupid but hilarious argument to bed.

After 3 critically panned films that have done successively less money (Justice league is still in the red), Snyder reportedly won't be coming back as he has been dumped:

I kind of feel sorry for the guy. Partly because of the personal tragedy he's had to live through, but also because the shittiness of the movies is bigger than any one person.

Yeah but he's had three shots and fucked up each time. His style just isn't working and after BvS he should never have been given JL.

They are reorganising at WB. Execs being moved around etc.

They really should just scrap it all and start from scratch, but they'll keep it going just for WW, Aquaman, Flash and Harley.

They have the infrastructure in place, they just need to abandon the shared universe and never let Snyder into the building again.

I wonder how much of a difference this will make? Apparently the CEO is a meddler and has terrible ideas about what audiences want. The problems are there from the top down.

They really need to start the whole thing from scratch. Other than Wonder Woman, can you honestly say you'd love to watch a solo movie of any of the characters from JL? Or Shazam? But then how do you recast the lot, but keep Wonder Woman without losing the audience completely?

"The audience" have made it clear they'll go and watch any old shit with these characters in so I wouldn't worry about it. Just scrap it and get some decent script writers and directors in. They also need to completely change the visual tone and soundtrack style as they're ugly, ugly films.

Do they need re-casting? Batfleck aside (has that guy ever really been 'into' playing Batman??) it's not the actors that put me off, it's the tone and the shitness of the movies.

Original look for Steppenwolf before late changes.

Looks like this will end at around $600m

    Lowest in the DCU
