Registered 15 years agoIt's from his upcoming series, Flash. He appeared on Arrow as an intro to the character but is getting his own show. Costume does look rather cheap in that shot. Here's hoping it looks better with proper lighting/effects... -

Registered 15 years agoAlthough this does mean there will be two versions of Green Arrow and Flash on TV and film. I don't understand why DC don't better organise this sort of stuff. Unless they're happy to leave the TV to explore his origins and let the film version just have adventures, which could work actually. -

If the studio are going to let themselves be dictated to by fanboys who don't have the first clue about how to make a marketable movie, then it really is doomed.

The names are pretty terrible and the costumes, far more than marvel, are parts of their core identity. Its why everyone shat themselves when JMS made her put on some trousers.
Yeah, some of the name's are crap, but I'm guessing only the core team will be present here, and their names aren't too bad really. Costumes can and will be altered I'd imagine.
Hopefully Warner/Snyder tell them to fuck off. Although I suppose that'll just piss off the hardcore crowd who they'll want to have on-side.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Maybe they are fucked. -

Registered 16 years agoWell, the problem, certainly, is that to outgun superman, you have to have 'cosmic' level threats which relegates batman to being 'the brains' and characters like the flash just running around saving puny humans while gods fight above them. -

Registered 15 years agoThey'll just have to have multiple threats going on, or depower him somehow. It's a lazy solution, but easily enough done. If he's still getting used to his powers and everyone else is super leet that'll help too. -

Registered 15 years agoIn fact, rather than having Superman being the head of the JL, you could have them being a clandestine team that have been operating for ages and decide to let Supes join. Keep him on the back foot. Like Homer in the Freemasons.
"But you let in Clark J!" -

I'm sure this has been covered in one of the comics - is the flash faster than superman? -

Registered 15 years agoI still think if people end up liking Guardians of the Galaxy, JL will probably be alright. Plus there's Dr Strange and Ant-Man coming out before this too, neither of which have 'cool' names or particularly great powers. -

I just can't see Gustin carrying the role onto the big screen as Flash is a big part of Justice League. -

Registered 15 years agoHow come Zach Snyder is given some of the coolest properties to work with? Watchmen, Superman vs Batman, Justice League. This movie sounds great on paper, but with Snyder at the helm, I have to manage my expectations. -
His films make a LOT of money.
