I don't see how this can't co exist with the bigger battlefield games. The gunplay still felt better than the cods etc, even if it had been a while since I'd played bf4 (which I've since been back too)

I'm more intriqued for the different take on single player seeing as it's a bit different with the cops slant, even though it doesn't look like it's going to fulfil all its promise there either. At the end of the day it's only costing me £37 so I'm happy to give it a go, it's still battlefield (even if it's a bit watered down).

Has the Kinect functionality been dropped for this? Stupid if so.

I've played a couple of hours earlier, I'm still not impressed. It runs great and looks a bit better than BF4, but it's just not as fun.

Yeah I guess nothing will top the bombast of bf4 at full flow until maybe 5?. Battlefront might possibly make the geek in me squeal quit a bit though. Not really thought much about what that will be like as they have showed naff all.

I hope laser beams don't lay down suppression. It seems to be the in thing with Battlefield for awhile now.

Dice tweeted out a pic of a Bad Company bank note with the message, "How much would this be worth now?" Read into that what you will or Dice trolling again.

Quite looking forward to this. I didn't play BF4 a great deal as I've always got other games on the go but since my game sharing buddy on xbox advised it would only cost us £18 each I had to bite.

It's really fun,fhe maps are decent on heist, playing through an La mansion reminds me of rainbow 6 Vegas for some reason. It's has some good destructible walls inside the house which mix it up aswell.

From hating the alpha, I've had loads of fun already and have this coming from Rakuten for 34 quid.

The single player is the epitome of a 'AAA' first person shooter. Insta-fail stealth sections, slowly following a character about for plot exposition, OTT set pieces etc. I found it mind-numingly boring.

Another don't know. It looks as though it could be a lot of fun. It's 'light' nature could go in it's favour though as it was be ideal for a quick 20 min blast.

You shouldn't, because it encourages them.

I think you're right on the 'light' nature, you could easily play quite a few rounds of heist in a session as some are over in minutes and some are tense close call games down to the last few seconds.

Ultimately I guess people should wait for reviews and others opinions of it if you're not sure.

I don't really see what's "light" about it. It's same formula but with better gameplay design and, unfortunately, a stupid fast TTK. The self res and shit can f-off but nothing's perfect.
They've tweaked the game modes to be more immediate but it still requires teamwork to win.

The net code seems great. I've not seen a single bit of lag and the framerate hasn't dropped for me at all.

I'm guessing he means the way there isn't a million guns/attachments/etc, and the silly joke things like masks and drive able couches. Lol

I'm hoping it runs nicely at launch.
That could be the decider on if I'll get it or not. If the net-code is good and I like it like I did the beta and it doesn't have a load of bugs, I may just get it. Still wish they went the WW2 style over cops and robbers though.

I'm in two minds with this and Borderlands. I think Borderlands will win cos I think BF4 will do for good MP battles.

I loved playing the beta, so I can't wait for this to arrive tomorrow (hopefully), as SimplyGames dispatched my copy today.

Question: If I've downloaded the UK EA Access trial of this, will I need to download the whole thing again if I buy from the U.S. Store or could I just carry on as if nothing had happened?

I do really like this, I've said before the lack of tanks or other heavy vehicles allows you to catch your breath while still feeling like a Battlefield game. The few games I've had of heist are brilliant fun too!

I think they should have scrapped the single player and made it a cheaper release for multiplayer only to get people hooked before Battlefield 5 comes stomping along

Arrived today for me from simplygames, just managed the prologue while it was installing, graphically I think it looks solid! Decent prologue so far. Ps4 btw.
