What is the plan to fix this?
Within the next few hours, we anticipate pushing the fix initially to Xbox One and then PC and PS4 as quickly as possible thereafter.

Yes. This Open Beta will ensure the cleanest launch possible. Keep in mind that this beta is intended for this exact reason: find problems and troubleshoot them to ensure the most stable launch possible.
How come the Open Beta Technical Test had properly working servers and matchmaking and it’s not working now?
We’ve identified the root issue that was introduced after the Technical Test while fixing a separate aspect of the game and is currently under test and will deployed within the next few hours.
What does this delay mean for the final release of the game?
We are confident the game will work as intended since the known issue will be fixed soon. Therefore the launch will not be impacted by this issue.

Registered 9 years agoThoughts on the beta? If the bugs are somehow patched up rather soon, the game is a lot of fun and requires a lot of skill. It does get frustrating when you're on a poor team -

Registered 11 years agoSo there's an awesome bug on PC that means that you have to press alt+enter twice to be able to see the "Change Loadout" option, then have to communicate that to everyone in the game so that they can all do it and ready up and then, once everyone has done that without quitting... nothing happens! Tried 5 or 6 times to play, 3 times that happened, 2 times no games were found and 1 time we found a game instantly and loaded straight into it no problems and it was pretty fun.
2-Player Terrorist Hunt on the other hand is pretty awesome! If they can fix the problems I'd probably buy the game but it's looking like it might not really be playable for a few weeks yet and by then it might even be in some New Year sales. -

Registered 8 years agoThis game is brilliant. I tried it at first solo and I didn't get to grips with it but played with a few friends it really is great. Very tactical and tense and there's alot to it, the operators and different weapons and setups gives alot of room for success and failure. -

Registered 18 years agoYep, Loving it, it's rock hard, the AI is spot on and in terrorist hunt the ambient sound is great. Crouching in the corner, hearing the AI talk to each other, then footsteps on the floor above slowly move towards you, awesome, like old times. -

Registered 18 years agoMaintenance for Xbox One and PC ATM, PS4 should be fine though.
They have been very active on fixes, which is worrying with the launch so close.
No problem by me, it's a beta, all be it a "last minute, oh my god, can we get this running without feck ups before the Monday release" beta.
Things will get tasty if multiplayer is fecked on launch day though, UBI being UBI -

Registered 9 years agoOk WTF? I just tried multiplayer. Straight away I get team killed and they try to kick me, then the next round starts I get team killed off spawn again, then I get kicked. What the hell? -

Registered 15 years agoVery much so enjoyed this during the Open Beta. Got a free code for it with my new graphics card too (well, choice between this and AC... so yeah) and looking forwards to getting stuck into it more. So many tense matches! It's pretty fucking good. -

Registered 15 years agoThis seems to be another one of those games that thinks the general population in FPS games isn't 15 year old CoD kiddies and suffers for it. Definitely one for playing with your mates only. It also made me yearn for the old Terrorist Hunt from RS:Vegas. -

Registered 18 years agoYes Rich, I miss those old R6 games, the lack of mics and communications could kill following for this game.
As it is I will be getting it and hopefully once all the spawn killing kiddies have bored of it we will be left with enough decent players to have some THunt sessions.
The graphics look fine on the PS4 at least, though I get the floaty comment, the models should have a more planted feel, I agree. -
