I assume when they tested it they didn't have thousands of people playing the demo. They've probably got a really shitty server going, as they haven't enabled online play yet, but not factored in all the checks the game does with the EA servers while playing. -

Registered 18 years agoHmm, I actually had more fun playing the ps3 version, despite it being the old engine. Obviously doesn't look as good but it also doesn't suffer from the animation issues and collision detection that the pc version seemed to have. I suspect half my enjoyment is down to the pad, can't seem to get on with the Xbox pad on pc for football games. Dualshock just seems far more natural. Need to see if I can get the ps3 pad working on the pc -
Have caved and pre-ordered the XB1 version, in fact it's now sat waiting on the console's hard drive.
Managed to get the digital version for the same price Amazon is selling the disk for. EA Access knocked £5 off, and Amazon is selling £50 of MS points for £45 at the moment. So the digital preload cost me £45. -

Registered 11 years agoThis is millles better than 14 for me. It actually plays like a game of football. The passing is great at last and had a real weight to it. Also players do feel like individuals.
Day one.
Unless PES knocks it out of the park. -

Registered 10 years agoPlayed about 10 games of the demo now and I'm pretty impressed. The passing is much better than 14 and the players are a lot quicker and less sluggish in their motions.
It does worry me how easy it is though! I'm only playing on Semi-pro but I found that pretty tough on 14 yet on the demo I'm destroying teams 5-0! It's good to see that quick players can now run away from defenders but it almost seems to have gone too far the other way now. I picked up the ball with Aguero and ran half the length of the pitch, out-running 4-5 players in the process.
The graphics are a big improvement but I still don't get that satisfying feeling when the ball hits the net like in Pro Evo.
I'm def gonna wait for the PES 15 demo but if that doesn't blow me away then I'm impressed enough to go for Fifa 15. -

Registered 16 years agoAgree with you there. After years of frustration in getting the ball to Walcott, and have him ten yards ahead only for defenders to magically catch up with him, it looks like you can now outpace defenders.
But will pace turn out to be an exploit online?
Really enjoying this tho, single player will be great which is mainly what I play.
Shooting has lovely weight to it. Ibrahimovic is a beast too! -

Registered 9 years agoI hope they improve career mode as that's basically all I play. Last year the good players abilities went down far too quickly. -

Registered 16 years agoI hate how in career some club would get some big signings only to leave them on the bench because the game doesn't process the starting eleven should be amended. Not sure that will be fixed in 15 but here's hoping. -

Registered 14 years agoGoing by previous games, will EA have had time to update the player rosters post transfer windows ? Eg Wellbeck to Arsenal.
Do they patch the game again following the January window too ? -

Registered 16 years ago@gooner77 they're usually up to date, worse case scenario they' have an option in game to update rosters. January gets updated too. -
They update the rosters regularly - in fact form is updated weekly I think. -

Registered 12 years agoYeah, all the players will be exactly where they should be come release. Fully expect Welbeck to still be at United and something as stupid as Lukaku still being at Chelsea on PES though. They are awful at that sort of thing. -

Ha, believe it when I see it! (not that it matters with option files etc)
