Good stuff! I've checked, and I do have EGttR, and I've just downloaded the first free chapter of LiS. £13.99 for the remaining 4 chapters looks ok.

There's some sort of expansion-y thing too - Before The Storm. Worth getting?

Also - noted about not reading too much. I know it's about a girl who can manipulate time, but that's about it.

The other thing that came up as recommended was Beyond : Two Souls (I love Quantic Dreams' stuff), but I think I got that in a PS3 double pack with Heavy Rain - will need to check.

Detroit is Quantic Dream’s best game if you don’t already have that.

    Life is Strange is great!

Not sure if What Remains of Edith Finch has been mentioned, that's good too.

Before the storm is also good, but only play after the main LiS story!

I thought BtS was pretty poor and I enjoyed the original LiS. Not tried LiS 2 yet, will wait for the physical like with the last two.

And seconded to not playing BtS without finishing the original LiS first.

EGttR is essential. LIS is essential. Before the Storm is essential if you liked LiS. LiS2 is also really good so far too. Episode 3 out next month.

Just started EGttR - played for about 30 mins. That was all kinds of weird.
Is it basically Dear Esther with fancier graphics? You just have to piece together what happened.

I'm not entirely sure about the 'tilt the controller in front of the sparkly lights' business, but hey ho.

And is there a save option? I see the game autosaving periodically, but my only option seems to be pause, or quit to the main PS4 menu - would be nice to be able to save just before I quit.

Also, any idea of game time? 5 hours? 10 hours? 50 hours?

I finished Life Is Strange about 10 mins ago.
Whoever recommended that to me, I owe you a Jaffa cake. That was fantastic, if not something of an emotional rollercoaster.

Is LiS : Before the Storm worth a go at £13.99? If it's half as good as the original I'm up for that.

Not sure about LiS2 - disappointed to see it's a completely different set of characters. I was quite bought into Max & co.

Anyway - Quantic Dreams' Detroit up next.

I agree. I was rather hesitant at the outset, but they made it work!
