Thanks guys, and thanks everyone for taking part/donating to the prize fund. I will update tournament brackets and final results tomorrow.

Me and glen have been discussing the next tournament, and how it can be improved (one thing that will almost certainly make it in will be a special repechage bracket for everyone who lost their first game - ensuring that everyone gets to play at least two games before being completely knocked out! - as it must of been disappointing being knocked out so soon)

We could have an Autumn tournament, but to keep interest and donations high, I think it would be a better idea to spread things out a bit more. Keep your eyes peeled for a Winter tournament! (although if anyone else wants to organise one in between, be my guest, i don't have ownership of EG hearthstone activity!)

No prizes but play each person in the league once? Happy to organise.

Thanks Benno for organising this I'm still a complete novice but happy to join in again for any more tournaments that might happen in the future.

And congrats rods for winning the summer 2014 hearthstone tournament.

Now I understand the winner buys everyone else a drink, so mines a Guinness! ☺

Like a few divisions of about 8 people each, everyone plays each other once during a month with promotion and relegation happening inbetween months or something

The top division can comprise of the top 8 of this tournie and the bottom 8 can be EG staff

That seems a little more difficult to organise

I was thinking a league of x people where everyone plays everyone once, with fixtures being released once per week?

Could probably use an online tool for it.

I lost my first round, but it was great fun to play under tournament conditions for a change. Making this a regular with 2 events a year sounds good to me, 4 might indeed be too many.

I'd be quite keen to see a start-decks only tournament, perhaps run in parallel to the next main one?

Two reasons: a) it levels the playing field so no-one can have a card advantage (even if it does remove many advance strategies) and b) it means I can take part (as my profile is stuck on the US server).

Anyone game?
