Just want to back up the whole 'Trust' thing a lot of others have said.

My best friend went through a similar situation a few months ago with his fiancee when he discovered she had been sleeping around with a work colleague.

She promised it was over and they agreed to put a line under it and move on, but the next few months of his life were miserable for him, rightfully not trusting a single thing she did and eventually he couldn't take it anymore and broke things off.

And while he is single now, he's happy because of it as he's learnt in retrospect that he couldn't build a life with someone he knew had willingly been unfaithful during the relationship.

It's a little harder for you if kids are involved... and, as you've said, she apparently has only been fooling around (that's still very wrong in my eyes and sounds like a cop out).

But you need to think of yourself first and foremost. Do you want to move on and have a future with a woman who has shown she is capable of being unfaithful towards you?

Sounds like she had plenty of time to stop the 'affair' with this stranger if it was only texts to begin with... but she didn't, she took things further, and even lied to you during the whole process.

You need to keep all of that in mind if you want to try and repair things between the two of you.

If you decide you want to stay together, and she agrees, then insist she takes lessons in covering her tracks a bit better.

Oh, and checking the phone bill and all that shit - just don't bother, it's fucking unhealthy and you'll torture yourself by being suspicious of every tiny thing. Even if there was a chance it'll work out, it never will if you do that because you'll drive her away with paranoid bullshit.
    Absolutely this ^^
I agree in the sense that "you should trust her enough that you shouldn't have to". Obviously he doesn't, and shouldn't, since this is precisely how he caught her in the first place.

Don't get involved in that shit. Delete the guy from your life completely. Easier said than done, but you have to for your own sanity.

Wouldn't bother, he's probably using a Trace Buster.

@Dev - don't go down this road man.

Don't. That is something that will feel great for a fraction of a second, and then you will hate yourself for breaking up another family just to make yourself feel better.

I'm tempted to say "this", but OTOH there is an argument that how wife deserves to know what kind of guy she's with.

On the whole I'd let it go, though - focus on getting your own relationship back on track.

Yeah, I'd say don't go down that road. It will make you feel better but won't change things for you
