Remember the little 4X4X4 trucks that "drove over anything!"

    They were cool.

edit: Wait, I think Khani linked the pic of one.

    No, these were the best.

There were some small pull-back motor types as well, can't member their names, but I've still got a couple

Re: Penny racers, I always preferred mine which was a flywheel based things, so you ran it forwards a few times, and it just kept going for aaages! It also had a spinning wheel on the back, so most of the time when it hit the skirtingboard, it'd end up on it's back spinning. Pretty awesome if you're eight!

Anyone else's school go bananas for an album of silver coins (each a different country) for Italia 90?

The panini sticker albums? I remember you'd almost always get a silver one in most packs, but it was usually just another Mexico, which you could only pawn off on the noobiest of the noobies.

My son wants to do Panini this year. I am very excited. He's shown a passing interest before, but is now bang up for it.

I watched the new Crystal Maze the other day and it was basically identical to the old one

    What's the issue with it?

That's what I've always thought, it was always wank with a kooky host.

If you want a great show with awkward host then look no further than Dexter Fletcher hosting Games master. Even as a kid I could tell he wanted to fire his agent. Damn, now I'm thinking about Press Gang.

This AIDS advert used to scare the shit out of me. As a child I probably wasn't in the high risk category (though I was a Catholic, so...), but it still gave me nightmares.

Thus it was decreed that every school playground would use the Aids as a weapon of insult.

'' your moms got Aids!! '
    ''Aids, Aids, Aids.''
''Eurgh get off, you got Aids''.
