LittleBigPlanet Vita developer Supermassive Games has revealed that its teen horror adventure Until Dawn will be coming to PlayStation 4.

Initially Until Dawn was developed as a Move-exclusive PS3 game two years ago.

Players will have to make lots of decisions as they take control of a group of tormented teens trying to survive a night from hell. Based on your decisions, different characters will survive... until dawn.

Definitely getting a 90's horror movie meets a Quantic Dream game vibe from this.

I can see what they're trying to do and I like the idea of a 90s film styled horror game, but the demo is a bit...well..

Could've sworn there was a more active thread for this... Probably disappeared along with a banned user.

I'm on the fence a bit here - will probably wait for it to drop to £20 or less before I buy.

If this is what I think it is - a Heavy Rain-style game which plays homage to classic horror slashers like Friday the 13th and Scream - then I'm definitely on board!

It gets extra points for not having David Cage anywhere near it too....

It was slated in previews. Doesn't look very good at all.

Theres a quick gameplay video here from Greg Miller :

It's not going to win any GOTY awards, but it basically looks like a fun B-movie horror movie where you can make the stupid decisions for the characters, which sounds good to me!

Or maybe a better description is that it looks like a fun version of Heavy Rain.

I thought it looked fun, not £40 fun, but worth picking up at some point.

Yeah, price seems a concern from what I've read about the content and length of the game, but looks pretty cool still. Spent more on worse.

It's been on my radar since day one, enjoy horror, liked heavy rain, beyond two souls etc. I think I'll get something out of this, comes out next month and is possibly my next purchase.

Yeah this will probably be my next purchase, I already have it pre-ordered in fact thanks to the Tesco deal earlier in the year. Looks really fun, but then I love these interactive movie sort of games if done well.

I saw an excellent playthrough of part of the game the other day in Japanese. So it didn't real spoil anything for me, but still looked awesome.
Can't bloody find it now annoyingly.

You'll be disappointed then, as it's the exact opposite to your hope.

Yeah I can't imagine it being too open tbh, it's likely tightly scripted but with branching points, a horror choose your own adventure. I'm happy with that tbh, I don't tend to replay these kind of games much as my first play through is kind of my canon. but if it's that branching it maybe worth a rerun or two. I love horror stuff and this looks like something a bit different, so I'm in.

Well, officially it's Wednesday (at least in Germany), but that usually means they put it on the shelves Monday evening, Tuesday at the latest.

I'm looking forward to reading fellow EGers thoughts. I will prob pick up when cheaper or our swapsies threads. I think it will reduce in price pdq.
My biting point is £20 or under.

I really like Germany :-) The best I can hope for here is they start selling it Tuesday evening. Not that I'm rushing to buy it or anything without at least a couple of reviews.
