I recently replaced my iPod battery manually and now whenever I turn it on I get a picture of a folder with an exclamation mark next to it coming up on screen. My iPod was working perfectly fine before I changed the battery, is there something I could have done wrong while changing it? -

Most consumer electronics is not user servicable this is why. Time to buy a new one. -
Did you charge the new battery you put in via the firewire thingy and the plug adaptor?
This happened to me as well about a week after Id got it for Xmas.
