Registered 10 years agoWhy on earth have they made all the new characters so damn fugly, spoils it for me as some of the graphical detail looks exceptional. Make them as beautiful as possible (at least some of them). Mind you the bisexual guy has a tremendous moustache if that floats ya boat

Registered 8 years agoIt does look beautiful, it is one of the few games I've seen where i thought my 360 couldn't do anything close to what was shown. Luckily I've my ps4 to render those crops to walk through. -
They should do a Dragon Age HD pack for current generation. Got a proper hankering for DA Origins right about now.

Is there a mod that makes the wilds place less ugly? I liked the city and the camp but these wilds are ugly and boring. -

Registered 12 years agoAh, I went for Dalish elf rogue on my recent playthrough. My first one, years back, was elven mage. I guess I just like the pointy-eared buggers.
I've toyed with the idea of doing all of the origins at least, but just never got around to it.
I got the Ultimate Edition on Steam a while back for pennies. Restarted the game a few months back, and then my PC gave up the ghost, so I had to replay it on 360. I'd forgotten how embarrassingly poor the console versions look. Even on PC it was never really a stunner. Interiors look better than exteriors, for sure. -

Registered 8 years agoI played most of dao on 360, but as I had the ultimate edition sitting in my steam library I thought I'd give it a bash.
Took a while to get used to kb & mouse but looked a lot better than the 360 version did.
Really looking forward to inquisition though. -

Finished DA2 for the first time last night. The ending was a bit of a mess, totally OTT and not really in keeping with the rest of the game. Still enjoyed the game overall. -
Man, it's tough trying to jump back into DAO Awakening after about 4 years, so many options for characters

Registered 12 years ago@TenderChicken I'm pretty sure it was announced as one of the games to get early access, but don't take my word for it. I'm debating whether to pony up for a month's Access - it'll depend on whether I finish DA2 in time. I'll probably be done with Awakening today.

Registered 12 years agoThe Keep has been opened up. I'm currently syncing my progress, though I probably should have waited until I've finished DA2...
It didn't find my Warden from DA: O, but it has found my Hawke. -
It got my DA Origins warden, but the final choice was off, easy enough to fix manually
Weird it recounts what you did, but you can't use those choices in the DAI worldstate? You have to renter what it just recapped manually it seems
Oh well, at least I got a quick summary of DA2 which I skipped on

Registered 12 years agoYeah, that is a bit odd. I'm sure it said you could edit a default Warden at some point as well, but I can't seem to find the option. I'd like to at least edit the name.
Luckily, there is an option to re-sync progress, so I'll do that again once I've finished DA2. I did have a skip through and edit all my DA: O choices in, though. There were a few things I'd completely forgotten about, and I only finished my last playthrough a few days ago
