| With parallel universes being introduced with Doctor Strange, I'd imagine that might make collaborations with Fox and Sony more likely as well as they can just have one character, say Spiderman, cross dimensions for just one film or cameo appearance and then go back to their own dimension without the different "cinematic universes" having to properly collide. Of course, it's probably still unlikely to happen for other reasons, but at least they'd be able to make it work in the canon of it all if they were to come to an arrangement. |

Registered 15 years agoSo there is 2 movies between Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2... bit odd if it finishes on a cliffhanger -

These films started off harmless enough, but they are becoming incredibly dull and predictable.

Registered 17 years agoPretty sure they're still harmless, and considering the last two have pretty much been the best so far (Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy) I'm still looking forward the direction of the rest. They all, mostly, move the entire franchises forward as well as being good entertainment too.
Not really sure how they can be labelled dull or predictable, to be honest. -

I still like the films, but think the feel of the films is becoming a bit samey. The action and comedy beats don't really vary much. And the end battle scenes feature things falling from the sky into a city.
The biggest problem I've had with the last few films is the absolute lack of any peril. Apart from Loki all the antagonists have been absolutely pathetic. Age of Ultron looks like it might reverse that trend, at least. -

Winter Soldier was far from shit - Iron Man 2 was shit.
Guardians of the Galaxy I thought was great, but it's not really the same universe.

I'm actually inclined to agree to an extent. I gave up on comics because I couldn't be bothered keeping track of all the different things I needed to read to follow major storylines, and the films are increasingly getting knotted together.
The worst bits were when they tried to tie it into the other films.
It was great when be great it's own thing -

The rest were shite as far as I'm concerned - Thor especially. -

It was dull. The only thing that kept me watching was my bemusement at just how many scenes were set in lifts.

I really like the first Thor film, the humour reminded me of Enchanted. -

I thinks jablonski suffers from Downs so don't take it personally. -

Registered 18 years agoGuardians of the Galaxy is the first Marvel movie in a while that I've genuinely enjoyed. Winter Soldier bored the tits off me, and given the subject matter that's fairly hard to do.
It didn't help that some of you guys labelled it as good as the old fashioned cold war thrillers. Those that said as much are lying, utterly wrong, fuckers.

Seems Winter soldier was quite polarising.
Until Guardians it was probably the best MCU movie for me. Loved the soundtrack as well.
